Awesome^

Must have missed both of those movies (In Bruges, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) but I'll definitely check them out. Pulp Fiction might be my top favorite movie ever, so I can't believe I missed these two. Plus the newest one looks sick, too.

Reservoir Dogs, True Romance, etc..
I like those type of movies best.

KISS KISS BANG BANG was Robert Downey Jr's comeback film. Sure IRON MAN was wider seen, but KKBB was his first proper, "I'm awesome now again" role. Really worth watching.

Word.
I remember picking up KKBB on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised.
Plus, Val Kilmer.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

I'm rarely aware of what movies are coming out in theaters and now it's turned around to bite me in the ass.

I missed seeing Looper, which I've heard is really good. I'm hoping that I'll get a chance to see Argo sometime in the next week or two. Most of all, I'm really looking forward to Skyfall - every early review I've seen has praised the movie, with many calling it one of the best (if not the best) Bond movies. I wasn't expecting all that much after Quantum of Solace, but now I'm excited.
uhm, that should be 'stuff.' My stiff is never nihilistic.

I think there's a great deal of goofy charm in Goldeneye and the new Casino Royale had a sort of coldly effective psychopath appeal about it, but I've long thought From Russia With Love is the best Bond movie.

Quantum of Solace is underrated, even if it isn't absolutely stellar. They did a passing fair job on it. I also have a soft spot for Olga Kurylenko's glowering intensity.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Funnily enough both GOLDENEYE and CASINO ROYALE are done by the same director. Both times he was used to launch a new Bond into the role.

And yeah, QUANTUM OF SOLACE is totally underrated. I always look at it less as a standalone Bond film and more of an aftermath of the events of CASINO ROYALE. If you look at it as the second part of that tale, it stands up a lot better.

I'm super excited for SKYFALL, and it will be interesting to see dramatic director Sam Mendes (AMERICAN BEAUTY, REVOLUTIONARY ROAD) taking on a spy action film. I expect the non-action sequences (character driven moments) are going to be what are best about SKYFALL, as those scene's are what he does best.

The best bond movie is the one with lazers.

Because lazers.

(if there are more than one with lazers, the one with the most lazers is best)

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

D'rek, you misspelled Lazenby.

Because no one actually admits to liking MOONRAKER

It doesn't matter what you think of any Bond film, cos if you compare it to Die Another Day, it is automatically a brilliant film... DOD (not Dust of Dreams, obv...) was atrocious...

You mean DAD?

:)

And yeah DIE ANOTHER DAY only gave the world one thing that was worthwhile....the theme song...which, coincidentally, was the last relevant thing Madonna offered the world.

Otherwise that movie was a huge steaming pile.

"Hung Up" came out after that! It's a pretty good song. But yah, point taken.

Has anyone other than me seen Seven Psychopaths? I wrote a hearty recommendation upthread. This movie is brilliant. QuickTidal, worrywort, I'm pretty sure you'd like it.

I haven't seen it yet, but it was at TIFF and everyone I know who saw it loved it. Looks to be right up my alley. Will defo check it out.

I haven't seen it, haven't been to the movies in a few months. I didn't even see In Bruges yet either though, so I'm not to be counted on for consistency. I do plan to correct that one soon enough -- I've been neglecting movies as a category overall lately.

Hey I didn't mind Moonraker. My favourite has always been Goldeneye, with From Russia With Love coming in close second. I've always had a soft spot for A View to a Kill as well.

Watching Sinister tomorrow, will let you know how it goes.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

The Man with the Iron Fists - movie trailer.

The story written in part by RZA, and directed by Tarintino. It looks like it has great potential of being pure awesome, but who knows. What do you guys think?

RZA directed it, not Tarantino.
