Personally, I'd recommend you see Last Year At Marienbad but, as I appear to be the only person on the face of the earth who likes it, you might want to take the recommendation with a pinch of salt.
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Bertrand Russell

Stumbled upon my local cinema's "Coming Soon" page. My word there is some good stuff headed our way.
Yes, it's all waaaaaay after you guys get it.
Looking forward to:
8/4 - Kick-Ass
29/4 - Iron Man 2
13/5 - Robin Hood
27/5 - Prince of Persia (trailer looks delightfully over-the-top)
10/6 - The A-Team
24/6 - Toy Story 3
1/7 - Jonah Hex (quite a fan of the comic back in the day)
26/8 - Scott Pilgrim vs the world and The Expendables
18/11 - Harry Potter 6 Part A
9/12 - Narnia: Voyage of the Dawntreader
26/12 - The Green Hornet
16/6/2011 - Green Lantern
It's all green there at the end!

Yeah Clash of the Titans was meh. Very average fantasy adventure. Some very cool effects and action scenes but not enough to compensate for the horrendous acting and mediocre script.

Watched 3 movies this weekend.
Pandorum- Decent scifi flick. Nothing great, but entertaining. 6/10
Extract- Actually pretty funny. It'll help if your a Jason Bateman fan and/or like seeing Mila Kunis in a skirt whilst flaunting the twins. 6/10
Boondock Saints 2- It was actually better than i was expecting. They did exactly what i figured they'd do, they took what made the first one great, and overdid it. I also tried going into it knowing it wouldnt live up to the first, helped a little. Nothing compared to the first, but I liked it. 7/10.

Watched BROTHERS last night...was surprisingly rather good i thought. really was expecting it to be more of a love story.
Also saw PANDORUM PRISM, really fun deep space/zombie type movie. Was drunk when i watched it and i actually made it to the end without passing out so thats got to say something.
Watched SHOTGUN STORIES as well and was the highlight of the week as far as film is concerned. Really good movie about revenge and how it can get out of hand. highly recommended.
Michael Shannon is slowly becoming one of my favorite actors and really puts in a fine performance here once again. As far as "art house" movies goes he's kicking ass at the moment. Cant wait to see him in Hertzog's new movie (following his awesome BAD LIEUTENANT) called MY SON, MY SON where he apparently is a crazy moffo who ends up killing his mother with a samurai sword.
hmmm...what else did i see?
Oh yea THE ROAD, pretty depressing movie not really as entertaining as i had hoped. But more of a "deep" movie.
PERCY JACKSON is a load of shit...
WALLED IN is crap, dont bother.
Watched NINJA ASSASSIN again and reminded how freaken awesome it was.
I mean Soldiers shooting RPG's at ninjas on rooftops...how can you NOT dig that shit?

For those gluttons for punishment, here is an update about the new Riddick script. Little bit of a spoiler, but not really.
It would appear it's going to be a sequel to Pitch Black.......

Just look at em' now, already pullin' the plow. So quick to take to grain, like some old mule.

Yep, monsters, mercs and stabby stabby.
Although calling a 3 legged "cow"a Trison seems a bit shit to me.... "Looks like a Bison, but its got 3 legs, lets call it a Trison!"
I salute the genius of the flange ferret who came up with this gem and fear if this is indicative of the script in general, it will fail massively. At least it is sticking to an R rating which means lots of blood and guts, swearing and maybe some fucking.
Whatever, I will still go and see it anyway.

Imho, it lacked the goofy dynamic between the brothers that made the first one so much win. I may have been blinded by my hatred for the mexican sidekick however, apart from that scene where they're in his car. And that's just for one oneliner.

I saw The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo at the weekend. It falls into the trap of lots of book adaptations and tried to cover all the subtexts resulting in it missing depth on any of them! The end product was very "meh" (barring a whole lot of sexual violence at the beginning which was more "argh"). American re-make is surely in the pipeline.

Saw Clash of the Titans.
Sam Worthington is the Australian Keanu Reeves. Replace him with a wooden plank, and who would notice?
It wasn't horrible. Better than the original, which isn't saying much, but there you have it.
I did like the quick bit with Boobo the Owl. "What's this?" "Just leave it."

OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

I've had this ruminating on my hard drive for a couple weeks now without watching it... I think I'll pass.
I did see that a Hollywood remake is in the works for sure though.
With the Twigirl as Lizzie.
Clash of the Titans tonight, finally. Its going to be terrible, but I'm going to be drunk!
