Sorry if this is already on here, I couldnt find it in the search. If not, any one heard of it. Its in production now. Its a film about a bunch of mercanaries trying to overthrow a south american dictator. Its written and directed by Silvester Stallone and stars Sly, Jet LI, Jason Statham, Dolph Lungdren, Micky Rourke, Eric Roberts, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Sounds cool.

that does soound like a spell binding cast of brilliant performances :unworthy:

Any one remember the running man? 'There are innocent children down there' in poor austrian accent.

Still the film sounds like its gonna be awesome it cant really not be. Although i did think Arnie was never gonna act again

That sounds too awesome to not have been announced on April 1st.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

apparently Arnie is just doing a cameo. I heard van damm, Snipes, 50cent, and kurt douglas all turned down rolls. I think T bag from prison break is in it too.

Oh god! Oh god! Oh god! There is a god and he loves bad action films as much as I do!!!

According to IMDB ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1320253/ ) Charisma Carpenter is also signed, that's Cordellia from Buffy and Angel. I fucking love that woman! And Danny Motherfuckin Trejo! Wooo!!! And Ben Kingsley perhaps.

God damn. I have no idea what this film is about and I'm already dying to see it! All these people listed... I loved watching them up through the 80s and 90s. I'm going to watch the shit out of this film!

And bad form by Kurt Russel and Van Damme. What they hell were they thinking. This film would put them back on the map!

Apt, kinda excited about this film.

Van Damme is trying to do more serious stuff, I imagine that's why he turned down the part. If he wants to make more films like JCVD, then I think relapsing into Action Cheese, even ridiculously jam-packed Action Cheese like this, is probably a bad plan.

Sir Thursday
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

Ive been following news on this flick for months..
some other 'why not' people that should sign on:

Vinnie Jones
Nathan Jones (that guy)
..indiana jones :p
Steven Seagal!
Carl Weathers (for the rockyIV trifecta)
Brian Thompson (that guy from x-files)
Jack Coleman (that guy from heroes)

the chicks he chose are a little young for these guys so why not some classics like
Kate Capshaw or
Michelle Pfeiffer

some set shots: http://www.empireonline.com/gallery/image....mp;gallery=2288

they look well dressed for such a messy sounding mission..

But Dolph Lungdren is in that new Universal Soldier film too. I heard Van Damme only spent two weeks filming it.

Yea Dolph Lungren is in U.S.3.
Was actually JCVD that got the studios to bring him back.

JCVD initially said he was only going to shoot for ten days, but if that ended up being the case, who knows :unworthy:
And yea i was wrong he is not working on U.S 3. right now

In fact he is really busy with post production of EAGLE EYE.
A movie he wrote, stars in and Directing.

Oh man, they haven't made a film in this genre for years, I can't wait. What an unbelievably bad/brilliant cast.
