so now, thanks to Rashan, we may lose 124 oxygenhours, :p

We'd presumably get back all the oxygen he used up to his modkill though, I hope.

No, you wouldn't.
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

But since the votes may accumulate, voting fast could be making the most of your vote. Fast lynches save the most oxygen.

But then, if 20 votes continues to be the requirement, it will take more and more time to vote someone off. With 19, we can only vote one player off in 25 hours when the first vote is reset, and heap 16 votes on someone else - cause I doubt people would (be allowed to?) self-vote. We would then need 4 to finish that person, and thus can only vote 14 times for another person.... so we're slowing ourselves down if we go down a chain like that.

This is one intricate shitty brainfuck, and it needs someone with more math skills than me to figure out the logical course of action (which, of course, we will soon depart because this is Malazan Mafia).

Nope.

Because, as said above, which was a cross-post, the faster we vote someone off, the harder it becomes to lynch every 24 hours. So if we need to go down to 14 players as someone suggested, then we must first reason out how to do that without slowing ourselves down so much that we cannot make the last lynch in time... if there is that possibility.

well, we have a total of 7 days (168/24=7)

and if we take up more time, we'll need to get get it down to less than 14 people--the 14.7 is how many people could survive under starting conditions (2488/168 = 14.8)

considering that our current rate of consumption's higher than 14.8 oxygenunits/hour, we'll need to have the number of living down to less than 14, and i'm estimating 10 or less will be the final acceptable figure.

besides, Mockra, what good can a vote do right now when none of us hasn't quite figured out what is the good course of action, and thus, what makes others scummy (if there is scum) - someone will probably try and sabotage us, after all.

from the signup theread:

There will be no scum, innos, cult, factions. The point of the game is to be one of those alive when your ship touches down, unless otherwise stated in your role PM. There is no Jester.

Okidoki. It says there are alternate victory conditions though.
So it is each for himself, and none of us wants to die.
Some of us just breathe, others may have abilities, and we have to solve this by ourselves.

Seems like a good plan to start figuring out how to get the votes in within the number of hours that we have... to get to 10 people, we need 200 votes on target. unless there are vigs et cetera to ease our lives. Holy fuck.

well, there's the watersucker

and we're 1 person down, possibly 2 if the mods decide to modkill the silent voter

that'll leave us with only 160 votes to go.

besides, maybe Obdi will be so kind as to give some people double votes?
*is hopeful*

In the late game, there are probably going to be a ton of votes on everybody because of the way the votes pile up. Shouldn't get much harder to lynch as the game goes on, I hope.

Another big part of it is actually being able to get enough lynches to get there. It's quite possible that we can't come to a decision fast enough and we all die :p.

meaning we should start picking targets now
which is damn difficult, because I think less than half people checked in as of now.
