Hmm, played a bit of multiplayer.

Pretty good so far. Better than WaW definetely imo, still undecided about if it's as good as cod4. Didn't play multiplayer for too long.

Oh, and some of the kill streaks are very irritating.

Predator missiles are the most irritating streak i've encountered so far.

Imagine an air-strike but aimable, and with all your team members showing up as little red squares.

Online gameplay if generally good, only got a couple of minor issues so far...

Some maps seem to have too many hideable buildings in one place. Just a couple of streets where there are loads of building tops/windows/balconies overlooking a street, and this means it's hard to go through those streets, because you need to check quite a lot of places and they just need to camp the street. Only been an issue a couple of times, and I soon just started avoiding those places, and figuring out places to go where I can get them one at a time.

Not really seen many people using riot shields so far-played mainly merc team deathmatch when I was online.

Also, throwing knives replace grenades, so I don't see them being used much.

M16 still appears to be in game(though i've not unlocked yet, ofc).

ACOG scopes seem to have been made more accurate.

Having fun ;)

So is it as excessively violent as it's made out to be?

I am in love.

Multi is great, not disappointed at all. It is what I was expected but better.
Played the first few missions of campaign too, and have already had my mind blown a couple of times.
Tried Spec Ops briefly- looks like it will be awesome too.

well the dual-boxing was a complete wash. It wouldn't let us join up together. Kept getting an error for some reason.

so we did MP splitscreen doing the co-op spec-ops misisons. and a bit of online MP for fun at the end

The multiplayer has some definite improvements. Plus the deathstreak perks are a really refreshing change. Tired of continuously dying? try stealing the class of the guy who keeps pwning you.

Also, cool rewards and point system in this one. Bonus for retribution kills, bonus for killstreaks, Huge bonus for killing a guy, stealing his class and then killing him back with his own gun and then all the regular stuff. I just think its cool that you get more points for doing cooler and more skillful kills.

do the bridge spec-ops mission on split screen. Its deadly.

I just finished the first 3 SP missions on PC and was very impressed. Given that I don't know anyone else playing online with the PC, I'm considering buying an xbox just for this game now...haha.

1st- Do it.
2nd- Do it.
3rd- Do it.
4th- do you get the picture? Hm Sixty? It's awesome.

It is 3am, I have class tomorrow early, it is supposed to be important. I still played 9-10 hours today.
What a fantastic way to spend time haha.

Been doing the Spec-Ops for the last few hours. It's awesome.
I've finished the first 10 on Veteran (Alpha and Bravo sets). Looking forward to more later.
Favorite so far is level 4 of Alpha set- the co-op sniping silenced mission. I ran through it with a friend over live and would be
calling out targets for us to hit simutaneously. It was so fun, my friends watching with me were awed.

BEST GAME EVER. That is all.

I'm playing a lot of SP compared to most here it seems.

Online is ace-couple of things still irritate me, i'm finding I can avoid the things that do much better after a little practice(same as cod4).

Not really done much spec-ops so far. Had a look-did the first couple of missions, but spec-ops is something i'm planning on doing with friends.

I've been hanging out on Reddit for a while now and the amount of fanboy RAGE is staggering. There's so much crying and finger pointing going on it's ridiculous.

So far the only thing revealed about the game that I didn't like hearing was the 9v9 limit, which is pretty pathetic. And there's also some talk of the Single Player campaign being ridiculously short something like 5-6 hours without trying to do a speedrun.

Single player campaign is short, that's certainly true.

I've almost completed it on veteran, whlie at school, and playing online etc.

Single player also seems in general easier than Cod4, aswell as lacking the occaisional levels that are much harder(nothing like the level of difficulty of the ferris wheel, the one where you run down hill, and no fighting in the war room). There's not been any time where i've got absolutely stuck, which happened a few times on cod4.

However, i've still got to do the last few levels, so I may be proven wrong, but yeah, i'd say it's generally easier.

Online is awesome, having real fun with it.

Heartbeat sensor got me found while I was hiding a couple of times today, so looking forward to getting cold-blooded.
AC-130 seems to me to be the most powerful/irritating bonus(depending on which side of it you're on) i've seen so far. Those things can go through your whole team pretty quickly.

Nuke.

NUKE.

Mind you, you need a 25-kill spree to get that. XD

Thing is, the way the kill streaks work, I reckon we won't be seeing many nukes.

You can unlock the kill streaks(and there are lots of different options) but you can only choose 3. I.e UAV, Predator, Heli, or Predator, Heli, AC-130 etc.

25 kill streaks aren't common, and so for someone to choose nuke, they're going to have to think it's worth putting it instead of one of the lower kill streaks, that they'll get it often enough for it to be worth it. So most players, who only get 25 kill streaks very occaisionally, won't use it-because they won't be expecting them often.

Only the people who get 25-kill streaks with a fair regularity will use it, I reckon. And if there's someone in the game good enough that they're getting 25 kill streaks regularly enough that it's worth them using one of their slots on the nuke, they're not likely to get beaten anyway...

So yeah, doubt nuke will happen often.

hell yeah.

I have killstreak awards at
5-predator missle
7-attack chopper
9-pave low chopper

So basically once I get the missle, I get the chopper and two kills later the best chopper. It literally gets 7-10 kills per life, if not more.
AC-130 is cool but you die after you are done piloting it (according to my friend who has done it) and death is bad.

Out of curiosity: is it possible to connect a mouse + keyboard to play with a 360? That'd eliminate any doubts about getting it now. ;)
