What is that? I've heard it mentioned but never used it.

Any of the pistols (except Magnum and Deagle) have it. It is an unlocked 'attachement' where you have a tactical knife and your pistol out, The Tac Knife halves the time required to stab someone an the time it takes to recover, so you stab faster. Most often used with M/LW/C to run quickly around the map then blink around inside a room stabbing people.

@Jusen - I have both STD and Infected titles, and therefore can give them to you if needed. Good luck finding me online though. Muahahahhaa.

Nothing more annoying than people zipping about with the super knife. I take great pleasure in blowing them to bits when I'm running around with my shotguns.

I like to run around with the Shield and use shotguns or akimbo machine guns. It's funny when people try to stab you in the back and you can hear their knife bounce of the shield again and again. Silly gankers.

Well, last night I pulled the old stabhappy ninja in a dark room routine and got it for myself. So I don't need to play with you to get your diseases :Urb:

I know i may suckballs at this game, but i'm pretty sure these do. The magnum has one in one of the preset classes.

Just loaded up MW2 MP and yes the Magnum has a knife attachment. I haven't unlocked Deagles yet, but it probably also has one then.

EDIT: Now that the game is running I might as well play an hour, just an hour, before going to bed...

Magnum and D Eagle can't equip silencers is prob. what you were thinking.

I think its hilarous to tac knife if you can do it well. Most guys who try it suck and go like 10-15, but its great to go 29-3 and explain in the lobby (after being called bad words) that if they can't stop a guy doing nothing but knifing that they should give up and go home.

You guys are probably right. I don't deal with pistols much, beyond the 6 person Akimbo G18 hilarity. Shotguns are where it is at.

I do love me some shotgunin'. I used to use the spaz (2500+ kills), but lately ive been getting hit markers at POINT. BLANK. RANGE. So i've been using the M1012 which I really like also. I still like the 1887's. They are so dumbed down now that they actually are quite underpowered now.

I took (somebody above)'s advice and started using the first shotgun on the list again.

Now that I snipe and play the 3-shot assault rifles a lot, my aim is way better and a shitload quicker, so I don't need the semi-auto or full-auto shotguns anymore to get results. Man...one shot anywhere with that thing just ruins people. Had a 19-3 round on rundown last night, sniping and shotgunning in between snipe spots.

To be fair, the players on the other team were horrendously bad and we beat them 75-34, but still a good round for me.

The barret is my new best friend on MW2.

Also finally got ACOG and started working the thermal for the Intervention in a brilliant round on Quarry. Sniping when the entire other team is sniping too rules. Just run from snipe spot to snipe spot and snipe all the other snipers in their sniping faces.

EDIT

only problem with sniping a lot now is that I can't let them go...even on maps where sniping is a bad idea...so I have good rounds and bad rounds.

I gotta make some normal classes again.

This was one of my best games, from a couple weeks ago:

Ended up nuking back to back games in this lobby, too.

I also had some pretty good games today as well; uninstalling the stimulus package and playing standard TDM gets a lot of easy lobbies for some reason.

normal classes it was last night.

Kept the sniping confined to the quarry and afghan...and worked my LMGs on the others.

I am NOT a fan of the last LMG on the list (the MG42?? Can't remember) or the second-last one. Basically, all the ones with high-fire rate and low damage are kind of shitty imo. You can rock kills with them, but even close range its tough.

Dang Sixty, that is impressive. I deleted the new map pack too. Got Overgrown like 7 times in a row and went into a rage. Oh, well.

Oh, and I finally got my first nuke. OMA Nube tubing on domination on terminal. These nice fellows from the other team kept trying to come the same exact way to get to c (from the plane). I did not scream like a little girl.

Hey. Overgrown is awesome. So is Crash.

I like all the new maps. They all play well on S&D and TD.

I wonder if PS3 has them out yet. I thought it was April 30th for us...but maybe that's why everybody else sucked so bad last night. They're all rocking new maps and I'm stuck with the noobs on the regular ones.

Okay, I have to ask. What is it about One Man Army that is so good? As far as I can tell you can change one time and that's it. It's fine if you run out of ammo with out dying for a while or you suddenly need a stinger missile of something, but otherwise it seems like a waste of space. I die twice as often as I kill someone in this game, so it's not like I really need the change much.

It makes it so you can sit in a corner and continually refill your ammo... such as nubtubes. You can use OMA to 'switch' your class to the same class that has OMA, thereby creating a singularity and imploding common sense.

Ahhh, that's the point. I remember watching the video with the guy complaining about people combining the tube and OMA and I didn't understand what the problem was.

I actually felt dirty after getting my nuke with it. Immediatly after I got rid of that class, although it is good to have a toob class to counter when the other team is doing it.

I set up a SCAR(TUBE) + AT4 class with Scav, Danger Close, and Ninja to counter-explode people. You use tubes, I will use AT4's.

SCAR hits so hard it dosen't really need SP, which means you are dangerous. Extremely Dangerous.

That ususally what I roll with except for the Tar and Sitrep. See a claymore, tube it, get kill.

AT-4 is the ultimate anti-camping weapon. I love pointing it into a room full of campers and seeing my name at the top of the screen for a triple/multi kill. They seem to avoid that room for the rest of the game.
