I'm still in, just slightly distracted with the mafia game I'm modding (and other various life issues)

Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I don't do much writing, esp creative writing, so don't judge too harshly if it's a total fail
oh, and yes, it has been edited to get it under 1 k words.... it's 999 words, I believe.

Ok it seems that from 20/02 to 25/02 I will not be able to use computer. Does this mean I'll have to exit the competition or do you think that if me and my opponent post first then there will be time until the next round?

ok we have 13 completed entries. if we recieved no more then the first round will be six matches of 1v1 with the most liked intro getting a by to the second.

that will leave seven entries and we will take a vote for best loser from round one who will face off against the bye from round one. the draw will take place once everyone has voted ontheir favourite intro. the dealine for intros is tuesday, so we will have the draw possibly wednesday or thursday and work out the deadlines for opening scenes after that.

the format for the matches will be as follows - each player when selected to fight will make twi empty posts entitled witht he name of their charatcer and their opponents character and which post is in place.

fighter 1 empty post1
fighter two empty post1
fighter 1 empty post2
fighter two empty post2

Once they have created their place in the thread the next fighters will do the same so that the thread is populated iwth each fight in place. Once a fight is completed announcements will be made in this thread and people can vote on who they bvelieve wins.

everyone votes. judges only vote when there is a split decision.

no point in grading, people can take t the wrong way and i dont want anyone playing to feel like they are worse than everyone else as its meant to be fun. pick your favourite and feel free to comment or be constructive. Under no circumstances should anyone be cruel or unnessecarily harsh about any entries, this is meant to be fun and getting up the stones to post is what matters.

so all you do is post here whose you liked best, and maybe offer other players special mention if you enjoyed certain aspects, perhaps even hint toward which aspects of characters you thought stood out

If people dont want to say on thread, feel free to pm any of the judges with your votes.
