Fun game everyone.

A bit disappointing in the fact that everyday we were told who to lynch, there was minimum amount of thinking/mind-screwing involved. Once you know someone's faction, everyone (including his partners) have to vote for him. Period. (slight exception for Thyrllan because we could read his role also, so there was no rush)

I guess it comes to two mini-complaints:

To the mods: way too many finder roles. But it wouldn't have been so bad if

To the players: way too little lying. :o

I tried at one point to save Shadow's ass, but I didn't expect Cicero to have another find. He admitted shooting blanks after the second one, I didn't see that one coming.

It's hard to tell about balance after only one game, but I second the dislike of Brutus' outing. It doesn't matter about the extra powers, it's too hard to balance that. Then again, the biggest blow IMO for the Brutii (I still consider them my team, despite my late-game salvation) was Gem's modkill, which is not like her. Did she ever show up since?

Anyways, my enjoyment came from trying to save D'riss from Rashan by annoying the shit out of Dibs (you didn't post my PM where I said I was doing this on purpose, I just want to mention it so dibs knows). I knew I was a recruit, I didn't know about D'riss, so I thought maybe he was an original. :(

Oh, and Man of the Game to Grief, of course

He single-handedly gave the game to Republic. If any of his original two finds had been on someone else, it would have been a much nastier fight.

He did use his first one early, though, the Gods of Mafia Irony (my patron saints) were not looking, obviously, otherwise he would have outed the Pontiflex :(

yes, there can be no doubt about Gem
and no, I haven't seen her around for a while now, hope everyhting's all right on her end.
There was nothing you could really do to save me, JA, so I'm not bitter about it

I can repeat my previous thoughts several more times, but it'd just be a waste of time.
I do, however disagree with your PoV about revealing your faction and dying, however. Every single merc game i've played in, I always approach primarily based on the principle "after a couple of days, start hunting the biggest faction standing"

Results have been mixed, but I stand my my assertion that that is the logical way to approach it, bypassing role spec and powers distribution.

in htis game the bottom line was obvious, once we could see how many Reps there were.
Unfortunately, i was misled.
Bent's reveal, followed by his statement that "julii now have a small edge" was enough to push me into lynching him.
if we cleared up the numbers at that point, we'd have had to turn on the reps Day 4 to stand any sort of a chance--working as a group with Julii to try to reduce tehir numbers.
as it was, by lynching MA we lost our chance to try to forge a voting block.

On behalf of the seemingly absent Reps, I suppose I'll just gloat over you for a while:

Hee hee, my finds sealed your fates.

grief really did a number on those factions :(

bloody ja, i so wanted to kill you two but i got ill over the weekend and lost me mojo, hence no playing. making me uber bp was also a bad idea cause i talk serious shit when i aint bp, i just ramp it up the rest of the time, poor baudin tried me twice for nk :o and two recruits. You dont need to lie when your immortal :p

lynched day 1, survived to end of game, theres something wrong there.

the brutus mechanic, not the strangest i ever seen, if the rest of his team was suitable compensated then grand, but with gem gone her powers should have been spread out i think as she was effectively the equivalent of me.

was fun guys :) whats next? my dice game?

DiBs- Ment keeps looking for you to answer that in the Mod thread, maybe you should stop in there if he hasn't gotten to you yet.

Witcher is a series by a Polish Author Andzhei Sapkowski

the books published in English include short story collection "The Last Wish" and a novel "Blood of the Elves", out this year.

I have the entire Series in Russian, so fairly close to the original language (My Polish is too rustyto read it in it, plus I'd have no clue where to get them in polish)

and yes, it's wicked awesome, i've been devouring these novels one by one, 3 out of 5 of them from a computer screen.

Wait, is the Witcher the computer game based on the books by Sapkowski? Cos fuck, I've been putting them books off, but now I think that was a mistake.

Hiya Ace,

With the current count and a Republican recruiter still alive, things look pretty bad for the Brutii.
Now, do you feel like trying to play your way out of it to victory, or would you rather that I call an end to the game?

I'll be asking this question of the other Brutii (not Republicans) as well, feel free to aye or nay.
I will continue the game for as long as a player sees a chance for Brutii victory, but also don't want to let players game on against their wish.

Cheers,

Tapper

Can you send this message on to otherBrutii players?

"Kill, them! I say we fight till the last! Let no Republican win, though we may lose the battle. We shall stand and avenge our fallen leaders! lol "

Yea, a bit dramatic, but you can DEFINITELY guess my answer :continue.

Ah, bless. Out of the three of us, he was the only one to die and lose. Lol.

I'm starting to come around now .. :( .. I have a principle of never taking pain killers because of a hang over, but today it was close.

And I agree with Yellow. Everything is to be posted. At least everything that has to do with the game, no matter how small and insignificant. There's some very few exceptions, but that's it in my opinion..

When Jslr and I modded the last standard game, we did it so that I handled all the pms and he vote counts etc. worked well I think

The fuck? Why don't you want to take painkillers? If you come back with some bull about "putting toxins into your body", I will tell you to do three things:

1) Have more faith in chemistry/medicine, it's the 21st century

2) Stop being a girl/hippy

3) Stop drinking in the first place. How do you think you got so ill? It wasn't the organic nutrients!

Otherwise, move along, nothing to see here.
