That's the thing with a merc game. Evidence has nothing to do with it. you're not trying to find the killer, you just want everyone not in your faction dead. You take control of the game and lead witch hunts against whichever unlucky faction looks weakest. Evidence is not important. Mob mentality is. I somewhat prefer the regular meat and potatoes games, but merc games are a nice alteration from time to time.

Well that was fun. I enjoyed playing with Ampelas and Ruse, who I think both did a really good job.

I haven't played a merc game before (this is only my 3rd game of mafia) and I wasn't really sure what to do at the beginning. However, once I got flushed out I could do my usual lying, which I always enjoy.

I seem to have picked up a tendency of only playing half decently if I've ballsed things up already. And I was completely confused by the whole day action thing.

Just finished reading through the spoiler thread and I was surprised by: Fener as Marc Anthony with ability to recruit. I thought MA couldn't recruit (little did I know he was recruiting people already in his faction), and Fener was nowhere near the top of my MA chart.

I was unsurprised at the split, which is roughly what I thought it would be once I knew the faction names and the number in my faction. Although, I think I increased the heat on the Julii by implying that there were plenty of us, which I did in order to make people think that MA couldn't recruit.

It was fun playing all-roled though.

Will be around. It kinda sucks having the weekend break though, which is why I wanted to be lynched before that kicked in. Also I'm playing another game starting Sunday somewhere else so it works out quite nicely.
