I'm surprised that noone has picked up on his posting, as I think he was the one who swung the lynch towards Rashan on day 1, and now towards Silanah on day 2. Who Knows? Just in case I forgot - Ruse=Bodyguard still

Well his little vote for night might have been a bit much.... He should put on the hammer and not be so cute. There is always the chance that silanah will get on and put up enough of a defense to get one or two votes off.

The Senate floor is once again a churning maelstrom of noise and agitated mannerisms. Many look towards Cicero for guidance, but the old man clearly hasn't a good day: he's having trouble keeping his eyes open. "He should have stayed at home," it is heard in the walkways. "This does nothing for the faith we can have in him."
"He's losing his touch" others agree, while some even go so far as to dismiss his oration of the previous day as the last dying effort of a diseased old bull elephant: mighty, bad-tempered, but soon going through his knees to die alone, in agony.

Order is brought in the chaos when Marc Anthony deftly steers the debate towards Octavian, bringing several charges against the young man, each designed to remove him a bit more from control over his faction. More and more senators agree, but just when he's close to a majority, dissident voices are heard from those unwilling to grant Marc Anthony the full power of Caesar's old friends. While they don't mind removing Octavian, it is much better to remove a lesser Julii player from the scene, to weaken the powerbases of the others.

Fingers point at senator Silanah, who, for some reason, is adressed as 'she' and 'her' by some. More and more join their voice until it becomes a veritable choir, yelling its accusations and drowning any word the accused can bring to bear in his defense. What can be heard, is dismissed as 'contrary, paradox or inconsistent', but then again, who could hear the full story over the noise?

The Senate wants blood, and the accused thinks it might be time to beat a hasty retreat, like the veteran did, on the previous day.
But alas, when he makes a run for the doors, he finds himself tackled and brought up in the arms of his accusers.
"What's this?" the towncrier asks, ready to make his speech. "I wasn't informed of this..."
"An enemy of Rome," someone hisses from under the Senate doors. The hiss is taken over, and raised to a yell.
"Very well," the crier mutters, and turns to the crowd. "Silanah is hereby revealed as someone who murdered Caesar for his own ends, a man who is an enemy of Rome!"

Flung into the mass by his captors, who have no wish at all to give him a fair trial in one of the courts, justice (if one could call it that) is swift and bloody.
Silanah (Masterblue) has died. He was of the Republican faction.
