For me:

Remake of Age of Empires II with updated graphics/new content/new techs. Prob my favorite RTS of all time...too bad ensemble's disbanded now, so it's unlikely.

A new Counter-Strike, maybe even with co-op against GOOD AI...that'd be pretty damn fun. If not that, stuff like new/rebalanced guns and new official maps; I find I hate most custom maps I play on.

A legit good RPG with a genuinely good/deep plot AND entertaining/addictive gameplay. I've played plenty RPG's with fun gameplay (Tales games come to mind), but I've never played one with a satisfying story.

A Fire Emblem for the PC. I don't have a wii or DS, but I still want to play their new games (even if it's not $200-worth want).

Uhm... There has to be a hundred Japanese RPGs that fit this. The entire Final Fantasy franchise, the Breat of Fire series, Chronotrigger and host of other tittles I've never played.

Go find Final Fantasy 3 or 7 amazing games.

A superspy RPG game (not shooter). Bioware should be able to do an RPG-esque Bond-like game and do it well.

Obsidian is comping out with Alpha Protocol this year. It is supposed to be a "Bourne" style RPG coming to 360, PC, & PS3.

I would love to see a RPG set in the Harry Potter world were you start the game as a first year and then graduate. Then go on to the proffesion you choose and have quests based on that.

I'd also love to see "the White Council" get picked back up. It was supposed to be a RPG based on LOTR, but it got scrapped. Instead they make shit like conquest that are the same as the rest of the LOTR games, meaning they suck.

QUOTED FOR TRUTH! FF 6+7 IS THE BEST GAMES EVER CREATED. And #6 slighty better than 7.

I want FF6 with better gfx and more endgame and I would cry of joy

I want a real sequel to Drakan: Order of the Flame. Hell, I want any sort of RPG where I can ride around on a dragon, burn things to cinder and chop peoples head of. Gears of War with dragons, and not those creepy Reaver things...real dragons. Take that Locust mothereffer!

I'm playing Gears of War 2 now and I could really use a dragon. All I have is a sniper rifle with 7 rounds left, a flame thrower and a revolver.I made some bad decisions along the way...

Lost Planet sucks ass.
Things and stuffs...and other important objects.

TBH I'm ridiculously picky with game plots; I hated FF7's plot... in fact, the only Final Fantasy game I really enjoyed playing overall was 8.

@Apt: Those might have decent stories (never played chronotrigger or breath of fire myself) but I'm fairly sure they're turn-based; for me, that = no fun. Something real-time, oblivion-ish combat would be far superior. If it has to be turn-based, it'd have to be Fire Emblem strategy turn based, not click through your menu-> attack system.

Fallout 3 had this somewhat (sci-fi oblivion clone pretty much) if not for easymode VACS.

I have to agree with those who've mentioned Freespace 3 for console. Playing that on the 360 would make me weep with joy.

KOTOR 3, done by BioWare, and without LucasArts meddling.

Just what I wanted to say: for this I would upgrade my computer immediately.

I don't mind some pot-smashing, but only as a means to an end, not as a purpose in-and-of itself. And certainly not in a competitive fashion. I'll save my online competition for FPS (Forgotten Hope for BF2).

I agree again, MMORPG doesn't do it for me.

Hell, I'm still waiting for the Sith Lords Restoration Project to finish up (they're restoring a lot of lost official content to KOTORII, and adding some custom content to flesh out the story. They've been at it for more than 3 years now ...)

Ive given up totally on KotOR II, it was bad all the way. (And I still had to play it until the end - *stupid* *stupid* *stupid*)

Well, and what about a RPG (not MMO) of aMalazan Empire, wgat do you guys think: would it work? (Of course: done by Bioware)

And is anyone looking forward to Dragon Age?

Dragon Age makes me jump and down like a six year old on his birthday. The one thing I'm not entirely sure about is the classes they are going to introduce, since they seem a bit out of nowhere and certainly unorthodox, but I can play a mage and call her Envy, so all is well.

I want to see Rogue remade so it works well with windows and you can play it with a mouse, instead of the ol' ASCII characters of the original game.

Don't get me wrong, Rogue is the hardest game made for computer ever and I never want the gameplay to change, it would just be nice to have something with slightly updated windows-ey graphics.

Not 3D even...just something on the level of, say, minesweeper.
