everyone enjoys a good rant, but that was as far as i could see totally unprovoked. Also its not the swearing thats the problem, it is attacks on other players for no reason.

I love it when this game gets to people. We're all out to have fun.. but shit, I'd sacrifice a bit of fun for a bit of excitement.

No i can't, because it is seperate from roles. the killers know who they are, so they know pretty much who all is on their team in any normal game. The fact that players dont have winning conditions is irellevant from their role. If players wish to discuss it they can. You have your methods, and i have mine. There is no information available at all to any players at the moment, so what purpose do we have for lynching players? We are supposedly trying to find scum, but without any scene or winning conditions how are we meant to know?

Don't discuss it if you dont want to gamelon, harp on about how its a bad idea even, but dont expect everyone to listen to you. Dont expect me to, at the least.

personally it doesnt bother me, but if we are playing and hoping no members will join in mafia games, it sets a bad example. later on in the game sure once you have had time to get frustrated people reading the thread would possibly see the reasoning, but i have played loads of games and it just seemed unnecessary. People shouldnt take the game so seriously, and usually with rants theres a ahint of humour involved, there didnt seem to be anything but bile in that one which makes a nice change. But you cant expect people to want to sign up if they expect to be insulted early on for no reason.

I'm saying there should not be a mod kill. Ask yourself this however: Did Silanah's outbursts help the innos? Did it make a civil discussion more difficult between him and those he insulted? Was there a good reason for it?

My answers to those are enough for me to place a day 1 vote. We might disagree but that's how I see it

Kessobahn, since when was it a rule that the innos should only post things that help team inno? If it were in force right now, we probably wouldn't be having this conversation.

I mean, that wasn't the point. Silanah was given grief for being agressive/offensive. I see those things as separate issues.

Well looking back , I think we have 3 votes on silanah and 3 on korlat and 1 on a few others (i could be wrong though) . It doesnt look to me like were going to get a lynch today, and to be honest I dont mind that much, I dont think it is definitely necessary to have a day 1 lynch especially in a game like this when noone seems to have actually been given any win conditions. Hell for all i know I could be scum.
