Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

@mods - how about telling silanah to stop calling us all stupid fuckers.
@silanah - If you have some extra info we obviously missed out on, why don't you tell us? Maybe day 1, with absolutley no information, no cf and no winning conditions no lynch is actually a good thing. Perhaps not following the same strategy every game of lynch lynch lynch might help when we are playing in a ridiculously complicated mindfuck game.

stop being so transparent gamelon, it means nothing of the sort. You can't infer anything about roles from it, you cant even tell if anyone is lying about having no info and it certainly doesnt indicate if someone is good or evil.
Not discussing anything, and no one having any idea whats going on is helping the scum because we cannot make cases because we have no way to judge what direction peoples gameplan is heading toward. If someone has winning conditions they will act a certain way, but everyone seems to be firing blind.

Bullshit. Being the first person to come out and say what their role pm says about their winning conditions is bad. You're a liability, Korlat.
Stop talking about your winning conditions if you actually want to win. Cos you can bet your life that scum will do their best to get around them.
I'll have to agree with Korlat here. Gamelon is reacting to an offence or whatever that does not exist as I see it. Naming Korlat a liability because of it is ridiculous to the point of being absurd.
I was initialy going to defend Silanah who seems to be receiving pressure for playing the game and do something constructive. Sure it was hardly watertight his claim, but it's day one and it was a hell of a lot better than what's been done so far by pretty much everyone. The ridiculous amounts of swear words and personal attacks following simple critizism (though not a well founded one) does nothing but harm the mood of the game and alienate people. It's not nearly as simple to keep a civil discussion, which is what the innos benefit from - I'm making the assumption we're in a standard inno vs killer game until more information is presented.
No we don't have enough information to make an educated guess on who could be evil, but I certainly know who'll make the job of finding them a lot more difficult.

Korlat, me and you are destined to argue this game. Stop asking for people's role PMs. You're just laying a massive bread trail for the killers.

I wasn't reacting to an offense. I was stating my opinion. I still hold it.
You are getting away with yourself. "ridiculous to the point of being absurd"? Calm down, man.

You seem intent to misinterpret my posts, that was a thinly veiled "what makes you so smart" comment, not a request for info. You are jumping at shadows gamelon and that you are pointing it out now makes me very suspicious of you as its a tactic i use when i intend to make cases later and want to present evidence of prior suspicion. That's a tactic when i am evil mind, generally when i play innocent i don't need to plan so far ahead.
Silanah, you have forgotten the reason many of us play this game, its to have fun. Voting for ja and seeing what happens was interesting and fun for me at least. no one expected anything really to happen, and if the mods decided to go to night, well so what? It wouldnt be the end of the world, or the even the game. Why not just relax and try to enjoy the game without having to resort to insults and going nuts.

No. What I'd like to do is to avoid discussing winning conditions or role distribution, because I think it will be harmful to team inno (or whateverthefuck team I'm on) if you/people keep talking about it. (after all, what happened last game, if not a massive and complete clarification of everyone who was inno... followed by a quick night kill of everyone who could harm the scum)
If you're reading anything more into it, then you're reading too much into it.

I still think the claim holds. This reaction of yours is weird. We need to find something to gather around. Some path to move forwards. I do not feel the Korlat harmed that effort in any way, nor did he make things easier for the killers in my opinion
quick edit to make it readable

Now, don't get me wrong with this. Bear with me. I've been having a bit of to-and-fro with both Sil and Kor at this point, so don't think this is me having a go at either of them, just some thoughts in general.
Now, I realise that some people like a nice, clean game. They like to sit around and discuss bacon and pixie dust and how wonderful everything is, and have a lovely time.
Not me. I love it when people fly off, and I love it when someone loses their rage with someone else. This is a game of animosity, whether it's cold and calculated, or whether it's hot and wet (lol).
I like to see people get angry. It shows that they're human. It shows that this is a game of (imaginary) good vs (imaginary) evil. If you can't get pissed off at random statements by faceless people, WHEN CAN YOU GET PISSED OFF??
We all love a good angry mafia rant. Fuck, that's pretty much why I play. If we ever introduced a modkill rule for people who swore (which was mentioned in passing recently), then this would not be the same game for me.
I can take being called a fucking retard. I might even be one. That's the point!
Anyway, that had nothing in particular to do with this game. Just thought I'd share. Play on!

Nah, you're seeing things that aren't there. Role distribution discussions (which is exactly what Korlat was doing, because he was asking people what their winning conditions are) help team scum. If the killers can quickly and efficiently pick out the RIs, which is exactly what happened last game, then team inno is fucked.
edit - god, really can't spell exactly

This i definitely disagree with, if jump around hadnt been a confirmed ghostbuster, or we had known that the baddie was actually a big ben baddie, the game would have been different and the innocents would have won. As it is, with no information and flying blind, we have no chance of victory. Staying confused, or keeping us confused, is what the killers want.

Aye, I'm not averse from swearing now and then either. I think anger is good, but the ridiculous overreacting and personal insults thrown out by Silanah is way over the top in my opinion

this is a blatant lie, we cannot discuss roles, i am asking what winning conditions we have. you are imagining things, Gamelon. In fact you are trying to make it seem i am helping the killers, when i am trying to discover how the innocents can win. If you disagree there is no reason for you to join in the discussion, you can protest if you wish, but if i want to discuss something and others do aswell, tough, we are consenting adults

For fuck's sake, Korlat. Can't you see that by discussing winning conditions, you are by de facto discussing role distribution? Now I don't want to argue with you because I don't think you're scum, but like I say, I think we're fucking destined to do it. I've made my point, you've made yours, and I think that there's no need to take this further, unless you want to continuously ply at role distribution, which is what the argument was about.
If you're happy to leave it, so am I.
Fair enough. I don't consider anything to be beyond limits, tbh. But whatever. Mods always decide anyway.
edited for expansion.
