Also, welcome aboard ST. I would definitely play a mini first, it's a good way to get a feel for the basics of the game.

I've played Mafia in RL before and have always enjoyed it there. We tended to just do Mafia vs. Townspeople though, and if we were feeling adventurous try a detective. I'd definitely like to try this mini of which so much has been spoken first to get a feel for the online variant, and I followed the Reality Dysfunction game, which looked especially fun for all the crazy stuff going on.

I've never played RL Mafia, but from what I gather the online variant is reasonably different. This game wont be as complicated as DiB's, still I hope you enjoy it.
