Ok, anyone who wants to play in mafia 35, sign up below.

*Note there will be a low TMDI mini (34.5) run before this*

Game starts Wednesday 03/12/08 at ~7GMT provided the mini is finished by then, otherwise a few days after.

Mods are needed! Preferably a US and European mod both needed (I work during the day, which makes things difficult around 8-6 GMT). All help much appreciated

The game:

TMDI 6, based on the movie Ghostbusters. If you're worried about spoilers, then what you need to do is stop reading this thread and go watch this brilliant 80s film instead.

All rules will be posted in the game thread, not in here, but know this: discernible town and scum, a mix of familiar roles and mechanics, with a few twists built in. Nothing too mind-bending, but not that standard either.

The more players the better Should be fun!

How long do you estimate this game will last? I'd like to give it a try, but I'm only available until the 10th.

The game may last a couple of weeks, however, Sir Thursday...ST for short...If Morgy starts a mini (its a very simple version of mafia, great for first timers , 1 or 2 bad guys, 1 or 2 roled innos) it will probably start Monday or Tuesday, and run a week or so. By the way, I'll re-interate, I will co-mod if no one steps up. I would prefer to play, but if everyone wants to play, I'll be more than happy to co-mod.

I can't play as I helped with the set up.
I am going to mod till the 6th then I am going on Vaca. Hopefully a couple of you will have died by the time that I leave then some of you guys can take over.

Try to piss every one off the first couple of days then they will lynch you by the time you want to go..

Talking in the third person works really well. Also acting and saying suspicious stuff... Droping hints that you know more then everyone else.. All good ways to get lynched early...

Allow me to check my agenda next monday to see if I have enough time to aid in modding.

I'm (sadly for me) not going to play in 35 or 34.5 (I want to prepare for my own game, run a few last minute scenario's, modify the roles for the last time, check the rules and add/ delete parts, etc.) but I could use the modding experience, and I'm in the euro zone.

We're not sure exactly when the game will start, but if it's on the 1st then you should have plenty of time to play. If you only have a couple of days then that could be a bit crap, but it's up to you really. Let me know what you want to do when we have a more clear start time.

Also, welcome aboard ST. I would definitely play a mini first, it's a good way to get a feel for the basics of the game.

I've played Mafia in RL before and have always enjoyed it there. We tended to just do Mafia vs. Townspeople though, and if we were feeling adventurous try a detective. I'd definitely like to try this mini of which so much has been spoken first to get a feel for the online variant, and I followed the Reality Dysfunction game, which looked especially fun for all the crazy stuff going on.
