Not really much of a defence. Serc was accusing Mockra of cheating, which I guess it could be argued he was. I was just saying I thought it was a genuine mistake as opposed to him doing it on purpose. The second part was just a joke and maybe could have done with a smiley.

Allright, caught up. Started at 16 pages and was at 20 by the time I got done. Damn People. Looks like we have a ton of time left so I too am of the opinion that we should really think this through.
As to the game itself...wow. I am guessing a lot of you have really complicated roles cause you seem to have a much better grasp on this so far than I. I am going to go back and read the rules again. Really glad Gem extended the time as it will give us a chance to better get a handle on what we are dealing with.

we don't REALLY have ANY grasp on the rules. But we pretend like we do, it makes us edited for punctuation.

Right, I haven't read a thing yet so here's a little disclaimer before I do. This game started at a bad time for me so I won't be able to participate properly until tomorrow (wednesday) night. With 380 + posts to read don't expect any in depth analysis, I'm going to be playing this game mostly on gut and impressions I get from reading lots of posts at once. At least until I get properly caught up and have had a chance to get involved.
If that offends people, so be it. I'm probably not going to be around to defend myself over the next RL day if the need should arise. Again, so be it. Normal participation will start as soon as I can, I've been looking forward to this game.
Now, I have a crap load to read and unless I finish you won't here from me again tonight.

Am I reading the rules wrong, or ... its possible that some people will start with certain win conditions but those may change as they get recruited. Some people can be recriuted, but that won't change their win conditions. We have 3 known win conditions but others are possible. Is this right? Damn Gem....
