Gem of Eternity... SOOOOO long. I finished the first gemcraft in no time, without much effort. Christ the sequel takes forever. So addictive though

Erm... still can't get past the first Epic level... I have tried so many different tactics...

I can't really remember how I did it. As far as I remember though the main thing is to start saving mana at about the 4 or 5th last wave. More towers won't really help at that point but spare mana will.

Oh and replay levels to gain more score and thus exp. You have to click on the sidebar to send enemies quicker. Doing that gives a HUGE boost to your score, its the only way to get the glowing frame score.

Oh and use the mana pool boost spell as early an as often as possible.

I did the last two points you made, but when it came to the last few I kept buying gems to throw at them... Gonna try it differently now thanks!

Also, you might consider redistributing your skill points into things that will help with that particular level.

Then, start with loads of points in the 'Start With Gems' skills, combine quickly to get lots of at least level 6 and ideally level 7 gems (ideally pure), and mana pool like crazy early on. Then build towers towards the end, so you can group your gems together and have batches of high level gems moving to strategic points on the map. Make sure that you get armour-reducing gems (purple) hitting early, to get the boss's armour down quickly, then batter him with poison and triple-hit gems. Use the others as bombs

Hahaha I know its well annoying. As for me, I completed Gem Craft!!! And the crowd goes "finally!" In fact I completed it with every level a glowing frame score! I am now playing Gemcraft chapter 0 or whatever its called. Which is OK so far... Not as instantly grabbing though.

So, did you ever get the urge to play Super Mario Brothers with Samus? How about Link, Simon Belmont, Mega Man or one of the guys from Contra? If you have, or even if you haven't, you can now! I got this in my e-mail the other day: Super Mario Bros Crossover! Apparently they ported in those characters, complete with their respective weapons (but not all iterations of said weapons I would guess), to wreak havoc on all the little Koopas and turtle-shelled geese (whatever the hell they're called). I played a little bit of it as Belmont the other day and was quite amused with whipping everything in sight...

I played this for the first time yesterday. It's awesome! But you really need to play it at the official site for the most features.

"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

Diablo Tetris

This game is deceptively hard. In the start it's easy, but because the things you stack don't fall to the ground you'll soon be in a lot of trouble unless you plan well.

Also, not having played this game in 7 years or something, the items are making me nostalgic.

not much planning to it. Just keep filling up the first line any way you can. It's not just the line that goes, it's the whole item, so you don't have to worry about how you're going to finish up the next lines. Once that first line is filled, you'll get a blank slate to work with. I was never one for tetris, but those who were should easily go up to at least level 100.
