I would do but I've not read a LOT of the fantasy/sci fi books that are often talked about in there, which are ones I may wish to read in the future, so I'd be spoilered to death myself. I'm sorry about that.

Its the reason I won't touch the place either, Dancer. Its chaotic as hell in some threads, too.

Dancer and Cougar,

I'm sure you guys would make great mods, I'll get back to you in a day or two. The other staff are probably irritated that I went all unilateral on them so I'm just taking a step back to evaluate how it's working so far, which is great imo, and decide how best to use any more mods. BTW, are either of you interested in modding the Other fantasy forum? I hear there's lots to do there :)

I hate it when you start cross dressing Mal! Don't blame me if Hetan gets the manly handshake and you get the cuddle in a few weeks!

I've actually sent you an offer to mod the Other Fantasy Forum, we need to establish some concrete rules first then the modding could begin in earnest at the moment it's open season on spoilers over there.

For those modding the Book forums, there are threads setup in the Mod lounge for each book to keep track of the work you do, so no one else does it right after you. :)

Thanks Bubba, I'll bear that in mind when I get started.

On a technical front, apart from that, I'll be absolutely fine. Invision is my friend and I've been an admin and/or moderator on many forums in the past so unless I find I have selective amnesia, the job should seem like a familiar home.

Can I volunteer to moderate the Secret lair?

If not, I'll just settle for the discussion board.

Cheers,

Don't think they want new mods in other places than the book forums. Morgoth is handling the DB as far as I remember.

If they wanted us everywhere they'd made us all Supermods instead of just leaving us in charge of the book bits.

These book mods have access to the locked usergroup forums now? What's the point of even having the private forums if the world and his mother can access them, exactly?

I won't access the forum again, don't worry. ;) Menandore went first, so I decided to follow.
I don't have access to Mafia's Spoiler Heaven, tho. and will be resigning if I ever do. I just want to say that.

Why? Morgy and Silencer can get in, we just trust them not to. Why would they though? It would just spoil the game.

Edit: And notice, I showed some self-restraint. Tut tut, my other mods. Who fortuneately cant edit my posts in here.

Except not in here. Cause they fail.
Care to step into a book thread, to feel some merciless humorous editting?

Don't worry, I won't be visiting the Handsome Forum again ;) I left my message. It is specifically geared towards ye on the handsome forum, so PM as you will.
