You forgot to list the US coach as a raging a-hole too...cause she really is.
Sundhage is a raging a-hole and extremely loyal to the players she likes. It took far too long for Heath to get the starting spot over O'Reilly and it took an injury to Boxx for Cheney to start. Mitts has never been able to get on the field consistently for Sundhage either and Buehler has Sauerbrunn stuck on the bench b/c Sundhage loves Buehler.

And both Sophie Schmidt and Kaylen Kyle outplayed 80% of the US team at any given moment (That's a FACT, go back and watch the game if you must), coupled with Sinclair's typically stellar performance, that's 3 Canadians that left their blood on that field and deserved better than to have it taken from them by shitty ref'ing choices.
I didn't like how Kyle played. It was too Heather O'Reilly-ish for me. Tancredi was actually really good with the crosses and I liked Scott's work. Didn't pay much attention to Schmidt.

I get my info on how the ref should have called the game by an actual ref I know who works the Toronto FC and even he said that the penalty for the keeper hold should NOT have been the free kick...she wasn't doing her job, if she did we'd have seen a yellow card to Mcleod...and we didn't. There's no way around it, it was a bullshit call. Even American News outlet's are admitting that much.
McLeod admits to an assistant referee warning her - and subsequently dismissing it because it was not a "real warning". No warning is required at all by the FIFA rules. The FIFA rules say Indirect Kick. Not yellow card. I copied and pasted them earlier.
My groove is messed with because the Koreans are losing badly to the Brazilians. I was really hoping they'd pull out the miracle and knock the far more talented squad off.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.
