I, by rather remarkable amounts of incompetence, have double-booked myself for TWO birthdays tomorrow. Which would be fine, except they're on opposite sides of the Bay, and the Bay Bridge is closed this weekend! So I have to commit.

We have a house inspection this week and our lawns are really terrible. A friend dropped off a working mower today for us t o use. Matador is on-call all day which means the only day he could do the lawns is tomorrow. Trying to do them all in one day in this weather would be suicide so I decided to do some of them today despite the fact that I have been 'banned' from mowing the lawns. Not liking being told I can and can't do things I set out to do the lawns. 20 minutes later I'm sitting at my desk, on my ventilator, having trouble breathing and suddenly remembering why it is I'm not allowed to do the lawns.......Having asthma messes with my groove.

Ugh, that sucks Kell.
Maybe you could draft Luci into helping? (I'd offer, but...yeah. >.>) Elsewise I hope Matt doesn't kill himself doing it tomorrow.

Lack of time on the forum (I'm back!).
Turning 32 on Wednesday gone.
The non-stop relentlessness with which my 6 week old son Seb cries (Oh why did I have another one? WHY!!!), and the 4 hours sleep he "allowed" me to have last night.
This 12 hour shift I'm battling my way through today (Roll on 7pm).

That's the problem, there's NO WAY I could get from one to the other (easily), because the bridge is closed.

I ordered some books off of Book Depository a little while ago, three to be exact. Two have arrived - my leather bound Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe and Jonathan Maberry's Ghost ROad Blues. However, the book that I really want and have been looking forward for ages to reading is DeForest Kelley's biography 'From Sawdust to Stardust' and according to my order it hasn't been sent. I contacted B.D and they said it was an error and that it was sent weeks ago, before the other two were sent. So, I don't know if it is just taking its time to arrive or if it has vanished within Aust Post. Either way, I really want my book god damn it!

I'm sure Abyss has some advice about this sort of thing, he has such a wonderful relationship with Canada Post.
