My groove does not like work in the slightest at the moment, and it wont get better until the end of March, by which point I will have either gotten myself fired, or blown a bulb in my brain and just sit drooling on my desk all day like half the other staff.

I'm in a long-distance relationship with a wonderful woman. I'm crazy about her.

She came to visit on the weekend and we had an amazing time together. She flew back to Vancouver on Monday and I thought things were just fucking dandy.

But now she's giving me the cold shoulder and will hardly talk to me. I can't figure out what the hell is going on. Did I say or do something to spook or piss her of? I don't know and it's driving me nuts.

I had to go to an evening clinic and the doctor was a complete arse. Started off by remarking that I looked well enough and was I still having 'problems with the fatigue thing'. He kept making comments about my mum being with me (my current memory being bad I tend to forget to mention important things), thought I was in high school and when mum mentioned something about how I tended not to eat before I went out to things like church he not long after went on about evolution or if I didn't subscribe to that 'the man above'. I tried to patiently explain I did in fact believe in Evolution and God but he seemed to not care, eventually after asking me what I had been studying and being told Biology he dropped it slightly.

Really helpful when the doctor is trying to imply the last three wasted years of your life are somehow inexplicably your own fault. I wasn't even sent to see him because of the ME.

My guess is that she really likes you and she's spooked by it. Not a lot to be done about it, I'm afraid. She likes you, I think, so she'll come around. I hope it goes as well for you as a similar situation, not all that long ago, went for me.

At my sister's place in Zurich, finally came to visit her out here! Let me say, SUI is crazy expensive, and they're crazy about having 'their stuff' separate from stuff commonly found in the EU.
In any case, what's messing with my groove is:
1. EXPENSIVE PLACE
2. Laptop with no mouse and just a touch pad. FUCK TOUCH PADS.


3. (unrelated) seems like the skin between my balls and tighs doesn't respond all that well to my balls being shaven. I think I need to see a doctor about this :/

Had a big talk with the girlfriend last night. She's freaked out over how much she likes me, kudos to stone monkey on that observation, and by the long-distance thing. I told I wanted to make it work and laid out a rambling talk of why we should give it a shot. She was hurt pretty badly by a real bastard Englishman last fall and has trust issues. But I'm head over heels for her.

So now she's taking a few days to think about it and asked me to give her space. Which, as she lives a thousand kilometers away, isn't too hard but still sucks.

Fuck fuck fuck.

Today is shaping up to be one of the worst days on record.
0) IT IS FUCKING POURING RAIN. Screw cats and dogs, it's raining fucking elephants and giraffes.
1) Had an exam at 9:30AM, but when I show up to the lecture room, some other fucking class is in it. There was no announcement, no email, and no post on the class website with respect to a move. This is literally the only class I cannot afford to flunk. It is the LAST requirement for my degree. And it is only offered in the spring, so I can't retake it.
2) While looking ALL OVER CAMPUS for the mysterious new location (I literally checked every single lecture hall on campus of appropriate size, no dice), my umbrella blew away, then proceeded to commit seppuku by tearing itself in half on a parked bicycle. So, in my attempt not to fail this class, I got soaked. Through my $300 leather jacket. Which then bled (didn't know leather bled) through onto my clothes (all of which are now ruined, pending drying out and potential laundry-related solutions).
3) My landlord AND my credit card company called me, both requesting payment post-haste. I have enough money to pay one of them.
4) My credit card company ALSO called (different department) with regards to a series of suspected fraudulent charges on my account. Some dickface 2 counties over got a hold of my number somehow. (And yes, even sans-fraud, I don't have enough to pay the bills).

The only upshot, I suppose, is that I apparently looked like such a charity case that the dude behind the counter at Starbucks didn't charge me for my coffee.
