And fire Ponting as captain. He can stay 1st drop, but we need a better captain.

Stonewielder was supposed to be here two days ago.

Amazon UK needs to get its shit together with the tracking of packages.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

My Stonewielder has been waiting for me at home for like a week now...

How about we just stop this travesty right now, give the Poms the fucking urn and cut the last 2 tests? :p

To go from basically invincible to a pathetic laughing stock in just 5-6 years is degrading in the extreme. But look at who is failing all the time - batsmen with (apparently) quite decent averages! And how can bowlers simply just not get a wicket between them? It can't all be the fact that the useless batsmen also can't catch.

There is some sort of psychological poison in the team. I blame the selectors/captain and their clique mentality.

We need a MASSIVE clean out at the end of this series. From selectors and coach on down. Hell, the board PICKED those people so maybe they need new blood as well.

I have to study approximately 20 different quantum-mechanical systems for their information-holding / processing power for tomorrow. Now, that's not that bad, excepting the fact that I can be certain the professor will ensure that none of it will be on the final. The entirety of the final will be some obscure topic he covered the 6th week or something....

This site doesn't have an affiliate deal with the Book Depository. I bought the book through the link on the main page as to help chip in for running this place.

It's my trade-off to make and unfortunately, Amazon UK doesn't provide tracking of packages across the sea. Which is completely retarded in this day and age, but hopefully it works out and I still get my book.

Finding Stonewielder and Changes had proven to be devilishly tricky. I'm pretty much set, but I haven't been hearing good things about bookdepository.com's reliability lately. Also, this whole "ordering your Christmas presents" thing is killing the mystique. :/

Once again, I can safely say that my pre-ordered copy has been delivered to my home sometime during last week (so, it took about 2 weeks from publishing date).

Of course, there's the minor snag that I haven't been home since October, which makes the whole picture a bit sadder, but hey, I'll be there on Saturday, so it's all good.

I got Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity, the original game boxed with the two expansion packs, Entrenchment and Diplomacy, for my birthday. I thought I'd have a nice short game today to try it out. That was at 8pm. It is now 3:30am. I have not had a break. Or a drink.

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Get thee to a ... drinkery ... ? :p

Poms just lost 3 wickets in 5 runs. It won't last, they'll set up a 200+ run lead soon enough and smash us in the 2nd innings, but it's nice for a few minutes to imagine What Might Be.

The cricket was getting me down, however quick wickets is quickly changing that... still need to flush out the top order though, something is wrong when your main strike bowler has the top score.
