If you click the Friends tab on the left and then the Status bit underneath you should get all the latest status updates. You know, like it used to do as the default option before they decided this was too sensible and reamed it.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

My tightass dad has once again forbidden the cooking of real food in the house. Tuna salad vs steak and potatoes-what seems more whole, Malazites?

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

There was a fierce battle of wills on the beach at Noosa today. Unfortunately, my pale skin met its match in the harsh Queensland sun. Now I'm fairly confident I could camouflage myself in a group of lobsters. Complete protection my ass, Banana Boat (brand of sunscreen)! If I wasn't so afraid to move I'd punch you in your stupid face.

Aaaaaand my brother just hit me in the back with the plastic cricket bat. Oh God, it burns!

Mappo - did you only apply it once or did you reapply? in the beautiful QLD sun I have to put sunblock on every 20-30 minutes to avoid burning... so lovely

you know what helps? Hot shower - as hot as you can manager, followed by as cold as you can manage... burns go away quicker when I do that I have found.

Re...apply?

By the by, this place is so green! I don't think I've seen so much green grass in my entire life. It's weird. I dunno, it just doesn't feel like Australia unless it's barren and drought-stricken. ;)

Sure doesn't look like it. Love the rain as well. Unless it interrupts the cricket, then it's evil!

I'm gonna go with the Facebook hate too... Freaking moronic idiots who make it seem to enjoy making it harder to use with each redesign!

MY groove is supremely messed with as my eye is still all puffy, my washing machine isn't working, my graphics card appears to have killed itself, work is very very full on and i am trying to study too. And I have no monety this fortnight due to a million bills at once. Not my happiest week

I just gave a horror seminar to my department. My Prof is away and someone really senior who has a problem with his research strategy decided to take it out on me by undermining my research in front of everyone. I knew it would happen to me one day! It turns out that being humiliated in front of your colleagues doesn't feel as bad as it looks. I'd rather not to it again though.

Challenge him to a drinking contest. THEN we'll see who is humiliated. Well, it will probably be Mezla again, but at least you will face off on equal terms!

You should have done the following:

*Mez starts fiddling with her pant button.*
"Miss Pigdog! What are you doing?"
"Well apparently you want to make this a dick waving competition."
"What!? I neve-"
"So I thought,'Hey why beat around the bush', so to speak"
"But you're a wo-"
"Oh I know, but something tells me I'm still going to win if the measure of your character is any indication of the measure of other things."

No sexual fantasies in the groove thread please DW, if you want to discuss this stuff I'd suggest climbing in through her window and standing over her bed until she wakes up.

I don't sparkle and so I'd get the cops called on me instead of being called romantic.
