Just had to fill 10 tubes with my own blood for my work tomorrow. Nothing like holding still warm tubes of your own essence in your hands (I did get a properly trained nurse to do it, this isn't self-surgery idiocy levels, although I was being plagued by Professor Crazy from India at the time). I have to stay til 7.30pm to get some cells growing and then be in at 7am tomorrow to harvest the buggers. Sometimes bio science is really shit. I wonder if Cause will read this......!

I am disappointed that you didn't do the bloodsamples yourself Mezla, I don't remember when I was last as amused as I was when you did that cranium/head lump surgery thing on yourself.

Why thank you! Stone Monkey and Cougar got a good feel of my other 2 smaller head lumps on Saturday. I'm going to work on them pretty soon :( Everybody needs something to look forward to.

It's snowing and snowing and snowing and.......well you get the idea. I barely made it in to work today and most of my patient's have called into cancel or just not bothered to show up. I should have just stayed home!

I agree, I liked the snow before college when I had a car... but it changes when you actually have to walk in the freezing cold.

And exams start Friday so I have been finishing class work due this week as well as trying to study. I'm falling behind on sleep, and I love my rest.

Messing with my groove is the fact that my IP has been banned by this website. I have to use a proxy browser that is excruciatingly slow. Really, admins, is there no way to fix this?

Oh yeah, I beat Kung Fu Panda on the xbox.

F'real though, why am I banned? IPB board sucks my taint!

I want hot and humid too! Snif.

What's messing with my groove: walking home last night I stumbled in a snow filled hole (thank you winter!) and turned over on my ankle. So now my right ankle and leg are killing me but I don't want to go to the doctor cos a: there's no swelling and b: it's our office party tomorrow and I'm damned if I'm going to ruin my outfit by wearing a bandage.

I hate winter. :(

Biopyschology Final.

Biopsychology? People will teach anything these days... I'd rather spread Freud's ashes on my crackers than take that course.

Hey Maia! Heat and ice in conjunction work well on this type of injury, five minutes of heat followed by five minutes of ice alternating for a total of 30 minutes. If you can do that twice today it should really help you. A mild anti-inflamatory such as Advil elevate the foot and you should be in fairly decent shape for the christmas party. That and wear some footwear that limits rear foot movement, isolates the ankle and has decent shock absorption for today. That's it from the boards resident orthotist for the day! :killingme: Hope it helps!
