Hmmm ...

Not enough people?
Waaaaay too much work - as decided by those who don't actually have to do it?
A goodly percentage of said work which is quite unnecessary?
Totally unrealistic timeframes?
Poorly managed "stakeholder" (dear god I loathe that buzzword almost as much as "proactive") expectations?
Constant interruptions requesting updates? (I'd get it done sooner if you'd all just leave me TF alone! :p )
Shifting goalposts with no accompanying rollback of deadlines?

Sounds familiar.

My sympathies.

Sounds like they need to pivot towards a more holistic, integrative approach that engages the self-empowerment of the stakeholder employee paradigm, while maintaining a streamlined evergreen outlook, contextually.

Also, artisinal.

Now, that was a real butcher fest in semi final 1 just now... THE HELL?! WHO THE HELL needs those snooze fests Estonia and Slovenia in the final?! There was ZERO emotion with Slovenia. Girl just fucking fell asleep after the that lukewarm performance. Like, what? Come on.

After my football club suffered the worst season ever with some of the most appalling and dreary matches in recorded history, they somehow miraculously managed to scrape together a play-off spot for promotion. In the first round of three, squaring off against a very meagre opponent, they secured a 2-0 home victory. Only to plant a big flag on this shit heap of a season by losing the return match 3-0 and getting knocked out in a display that can only be described by casual onlookers as 'lacklustre'. So we are condemned to yet another season on the second tier of Dutch football, which currently bears the glorious (sponsored) name 'Kitchen Champion division (I shit you not).

If this had been our first year of misery, fair enough. But my club has seen a dismal decline since 2014. And to think that only 11 years ago we played Europa League football against the likes of Tottenham Hotspurs, Spartak Moscow and Udinese.... The hurting just doesn't end.

The whole juggling a high pressure job that mostly involves sitting at a desk AND caring for a small child AND trying not to turn into a massive fat middle aged blob thing is messing with my groove.

I hate exercising and I love eating. It's a curse!

Salty as always about Eurovision. But after Eurovision is before Eurovision, time to prepare for next year while I bask in the still ongoing fallout of this final.

Stayed in the house all day waiting for a hastily purchased new TV to arrive after my son smashed the old one yesterday. Now it's here. Got to wait for him to go to bed, cook and eat dinner and then set up the TV so that we can watch GoT. Gah. And I'm soooooo tired, I'd rather just go to bed but I can't look at the internet or go outdoors until I've seen it. It better be bloody decent after all this shit.

We seem to have bought a TV that doesn't support out GoT viewing app. There are too many different ways to watch TV nowadays. IMPOTENT RAGE.

Shit, May 21 and this morning woke up to about 8 inches of snow. I can only see this manifesting as more tornadoes as it moves east. Hoping people stay safe.

Damn, I really want a string of days of clear, sunny, no wind, where temps hit north of 90°F (32°C). Need summer and sun kissing my skin, stat!

Along the Colorado front range (up against the Rocky Mountains).

It's rare to get snow in May, but isn't unheard of. In fact some old timers that have lived here for decades said back in the 1970s it snowed in June. This is my first time seeing this amount of snow, this late. And it's flippin' cold too! Damn, I thought I got it bad, but when I drove north and east to work I saw cars stranded on the side of the road in drifts of snow, and this is that super wet type of spring snow. As these type of systems move east, it can mean tornado trouble and heavy rains/flooding.

Fun fact: CDOT has a goal (after each winter) to have the highest paved road in the U.S. open by Memorial Day weekend (last Monday in May). They have kick ass machinery to get the job done.
