Breaking up with Mr Not a Blacksmith. It's the right decision but it's never a fun thing to do. And long distance makes it awkward because it's not right to do it over message but then at the same time you can't ask to meet up without some sort of "we need to talk" warning either.

Apparently, the Empire was right. I need to date a blacksmith

That's sad to hear. Still, there's always someone out there who'll fit your own personal brand of crazy. A blacksmith with an affinity for birds and fantasy.

Drove into the thickest fog bank on the way to work. Can't remember the last time I experienced a fog that concentrated. Shit was harrowing AF to drive through, during morning rush to beat all (adding to the white knuckling gripping the steering wheel). Saw the active clean up of a few accidents for traffic coming the other way. No accidents going my way thankfully, but seen a few close calls. Add sensible driving in fog (or other serious weather conditions) to the common sense that is fading from the world.

Any military bases nearby? Earthquakes recently?

Military bases yes, but no earthquakes. Bizarre amount of snow (for late April) we had last evening (real juicy snow to boot). Not cold enough to stick on the roads but about 6 inches inches on grass and deck. The effect of the precipitation evaporating off the roads into the colder air mass close over head probably contributed to the intensity of the fog (I could be wrong though, I'm no meteorologist ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ).

Haven't seen Avengers End Game yet and spoilery things keep threatening. Hoping to go tomorrow after work but fitting everything in and getting there on time is going to be a pain in the arse. Someone tell me it's so awesome that I just have to make the effort.

Thor taking out the Night King is one of the greatest things i have ever watched. Still don't think Arya should have been able to beat Cap in a fight tho'.

It's so awesome you need to make the effort. It's not the best Marvel film I've seen, but it's up there and there are some brilliant, moving scenes.

It moves fairly quickly once Thanos sends his army against Winterfell.

Seen it! Monumental effort to get there tonight. The movie started just as I was finding my seat. Go me. Unfortunately that cavalry charge at the beginning with Thor riding on Rocket's back with a flaming sword....the tactics were just way off, ruined the immersion for me. I'm bitterly disappointed.
