What's the deal with Josh Rosen? Is he staying to compete against Murray or is he to be traded eventually?

Also, I don't like Murray. I shit bigger then him. Small stature for NFL qb is usually not something you want, although there are some outliers (Russell Wilson ex.)

You’d think they would have traded him before the draft, they have less leverage now.

Bears didn’t have a pick, since we traded it for Mack. It was a lot easier to watch it this year than the 2 years we didn’t have picks because of the Jay Cutler trade.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Ahhhhh ... cleaning up after other people's fuckups. Welcome to around 50% of my day. Truth to tell, if most people weren't so bad at - or at least so indifferent to - paperwork or policy I'd be out of a job.My favourite part though is when someone makes a seemingly-innocuous error that is either missed or ignored by the 3 or so other people that review it before me, but by the time it gets to me it's a right royal pain to fix and of course Old Mate is away from work like half our unit is at any one time. My other favourite is when I fix common errors but strangely noone seems to learn from it, no matter how many times I tell them, their supervisors etc. Noone passes information on, which is quite ironic given the communication-based nature of our unit. ;)
Jesus the world is depressing. It's bad enough dealing with this at my work but with what, four of us in here in a row? And given the industries represented between us it really makes me question how the wheels keep spinning. *sigh*

They keep spinning but going nowhere because they're hamster wheels. It's primarily because those who make the decisions never have to endure the consequences. Would I be right in assuming that's not limited to only my work environment?

Very much so.

I guess they were shopping Rosen around right before the draft kicked off and turned down two offers for a 2nd round pick, but didn't take it. They should have taken one of them.

My Steelers moved up via trade deal with Broncos and took a LB with the 10th overall pick. Devin Bush from Michigan. Don't know anything about him, but Steelers' defense has had a noticeable void since Shazier's catastrophic injury. Hopefully he'll be a productive addition.

[EDIT] Latest is that Rosen going to Miami Dolphins. It's not official yet, but supposed to be happening.

Ya they traded him. It’s being reported locally they didn’t like how much he liked to party. Leadership issues didn’t seem the issue.

I’m a lifelong cards fan going back to the 90s so I’m all in. Love the draft .. after Murray .: lots of weapons to succeed. It is what it is...and gotta get my hope on. (God he’s sooo small.. our first three picks were 5’10.. 5’9 and 5’8.. I’m taller !!)

Anyhow:

Came to post I have yet again been murdered by mosquitos .. at some point in my life someone cursed me. Another 20+ bite day. No this is not unusual, not often, just strangely they target me.

Woke up with a pounding headache yet again. That's been an almost daily thing for the past two weeks and I'm really getting fed up with it. Yesterday my back hurt because of that nonsense. Ugh. The only good thing is I don't have to pay for the meds I'm eating like candy these days.

Sounds like the bane of a man's existence. Here's hoping you can bat the pain away soon.

Unless it's something chronic or serious like a damaged disc, the best cure is always just to keep active. Stand up instead of sitting down, move regularly, do dynamic stretches, squat, bend over, etc.

I can usually get a back ache to go away in 12-48 hours depending on how bad I fucked my back up.

It's chronic, I have a slight curvature in my lower back that over time has caused damage to a disc. Now and then it flares up, and if I'm really unlucky, like it seems I've maybe been this time around, it gets infected. So I can barely stand. I can barely sit. I can barely lie down. Whatever I do it's just a massive pain, and the pills I have for when it gets this bad mess with my head.

That really sucks. The back is one of the most important parts of the body.

The smell of frying chicken. It's disgusting. You're free to disagree if you're so inclined, but bleh.

On the up side, I can complain about the chicken only because my head is not trying to implode anymore, for a change.

Breaking up with Mr Not a Blacksmith. It's the right decision but it's never a fun thing to do. And long distance makes it awkward because it's not right to do it over message but then at the same time you can't ask to meet up without some sort of "we need to talk" warning either.

Apparently, the Empire was right. I need to date a blacksmith :apt2:
