Oh gosh QT and Messremb - that sounds pretty awful. I got lucky for Christmas, the sprog was on good form which I take as penance due from our terrible summer holiday where he was a total shit! Mr PigDog was also insanely stressed out over Christmas due to his dad having a stroke so he wasn't sleeping which meant he was up with our son every morning and I've had my longest run of lie ins since about 2014! I feel fantastic. Silver linings and all that. Although there was the new parenting nightmare of taking a 2 year old to an old persons stroke ward in hospital and trying to prevent him destroying the place. Just need Grandpa PigDog to continue getting better now.

Wrong thread really. Maybe. Mixed bag I guess but I can't believe how well I feel.

You cannot change your display name back for thirty days?! Dea Gods, what have I done? I'm locked into perpetual festivity! The horror. The horror.

If you make a sacrifice to Abyss under a full moon during harvest he’ll change it back for you.

If your sacrifice is worthy, of course.

So, first day of the year at work, everything is fine till lunch. Then my boss shares out some fried snacks. I have a tiny amount. By the time I am on my way home I am feeling uneasy, by the time I am home, I am definitely sick, and now I can barely move

Well, here everything is ringfenced so we'd have to demonstrate that we have pursued at least 2-3 years of performance management before we can get rid of underperforming staff. I'd never thought of sharing out snacks before, but I like its calculated simplicity.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

I sat it out.

I'm sitting in the dental waiting room. 5 days of pain in my mouth was enough. Hope that drill ain't gotta be brought out.

Whatever they quote you, i’ll do it for half the price with an ice pick, some minty dental floss, and a half bottle of Jack Daniels.

And will you try and relieve his toothache afterwards as well?

The blood last night after the water pik.

Dang that was nasty. Thought for sure I had a bad sudden cavity but nope. My gums on both sides of one tooth is just slightly inflamed and it’s rather crazy how that is causing that much pain and kicking off random headaches.

I feel your pain. I once had what I thought was a deep cavity, only to learn it was a gum-abbess/infection. Some antibiotics and it cleared up, but the pain was HORRIBLE when it was occurring.

hope you feel better soon man.

If it's not something as serious as an abscess, try to find this brand of mouthwash:

Mullets will always be balling!

I'm kinda heartbroken atm. Feel like punching myself. One of my stumps has a hell of a lot of wild shrubs encircling it and over the past 2 months I've been slowly burning it away so I will be able to begin mowing over it. About an hour ago(it's dark) I put some pine needles over a tiny section and blazed it up and after about 15 minutes when the flames were dying down I noticed slight movement and didn't think it was anything more then some burnt weeds settling so I put more needles over it to finish that spot off and after a few more moments of renewed flames I saw even more movement, frantic movements actually and the flame light was just bright enough to reveal a mid sized toad in utter agony. Fuck!!! To late to do anything for the little fella. I melted it's face completely off.

Feel rotten.

I'm a big softy when it comes to toads. I like tickling them. I ll also have these weird patterns in my yard when I'm mowing as I dodge them and come back later if they are stubborn and don't move out of my path after a few moments of waiting for them to do so.

Well Clarice, have the toads stopped screaming?

I'm not familiar with your sister's story. What's stopping her from getting her own place?

Also BK I think you may be related to the characters from the Hills have Eyes.
