As long as it didn't pass the Turing test we can all sleep soundly tonight. I still worry about nanobots though.

Nanobots are the future and our friends.

That's what Neville Chamberlain said about Nazi Germany.

Or maybe he didn't. But he might have if they'd have had sentient blood nanobots in 1939. History is full of speculation.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Just did a search: it's Ment. And he was on ... almost 5 hours ago. Should be OK then.

Yeah, I was at home, naturally (for a Thur night)

I do know that plaza. We often stop at the Montana's there for a few beers after our soccer games.

Disturbing news, to say the least

Seems like the suspects are white (or at least fair skinned), which makes me think this could have been a targeted racist attack.

I also used to go to the Montanas in that plaza with co-workers as well (I worked about 4 minutes away back in the 2000's). Scary stuff! Hope they catch the bastards who did it, and that all the injured people recover.

The three in critical condition are now stable, and the other 12 have been treated and released, so no fatalities thank god.

There were fucking kids there at a birthday party, who does this shit. I've been to that Montana's too oddly enough. First the guy in the van in Toronto and now this, it's scary.
I've always felt safe in the GTA but in this last month with these two things it kinda freaks me out.

Yeah man, that was outright dirty play, no arguing against it. And Liverpool's keeper too. Yeeesh, he better wear a disguise when he's out and about for a few months. I'm pissed off,

I would have been happy (realatively) to lose 1-0 to that goal from bale.
But the other two goals. Fuck me that's grim

Sick of seeing these "Free Tommy Robinson" petitions all over Facebook.

Reporting bans on serious court cases exist for a reason. He decided that didn't apply to him and broke said ban. Why is this worthy of any sympathy exactly?

It's the complete ignorance of why the reporting ban is in place that winds me up. If people want to hold idiotic opinions when given all the facts, then that is very much their lookout - but ignorance which is easily put right is no excuse at all.

Mind you, some of them did at least shut up when I pointed out how angry they should rightly be if the case collapsed because of the illegal reporting - given that these reporting bans are to prevent reporting prejudicing serious cases.
