Just discovered that a very important procedure was never done at work because my boss never told anyone that it had to be done. Now we have to rush it as the deadline is Tuesday.

People not following gym etiquette. If equipment is in use already, you don't barge your ass in there, you either patiently wait and do something else in the meantime, or you ask politely to share. But some people abviously think they're too pretty to follow basic courtesy.

So at my gym there's a walled off area with one (1) set of basic gym equipment reserved for women, and the entire area is just barely big enough to do squats with a barbell. You can, however, see from the outside if it's occupied or not. So I was doing my thing in there and trying to do it at a reasonable pace because I knew others were waiting to use the equipment, and in barge those two girls and just start doing whatever. One grabs the curl bar and tries to do squats with it (wtf) 'cause I was holding the straight one, and the other drags the bench wherever she needs it and does whatever. I give them the dirty look, but no reaction. I try to make motions to at least do shit in some kind of order (again, not much space in there), but while curl bar girl seems to agree, no reaction again from Miss I-am-so-pretty. So I finish my squats and leave to finish my circuit elsewhere, because duh, what the hell. They got what they wanted, but next time that happens, they're getting a lecture about not only beasic etiquette but also basic safety. I could've brained Miss I-am-so-pretty with the barbell had I lost balance because I had to keep my eyes on two people within braining distance at the same time as keeping balance. THEN the screaming would've been great. If you can't wait until the equipment's not in use anymore, go the fuck upstairs and use the five sets of stuff up there

I'm really more pissed off about the lack of safety awareness than about being disturbed. Miss I-am-so-pretty eventually also proceeded to do back extensions so wrong, I got worried for her spine and I usually don't give a rat's ass about what other people do at the gym. Ugh.

Though it turns out I actually pulled a muscle in the side of my neck yesterday. I wonder how? It's not like I'd ever had one single injury in the years I'd been doing weights before and now past my break due to depression. Ugggh.

Aha you see I was told that they had FACTS that backed him up that Islamic Terrorism killed more than white people with guns. Those facts were not forthcoming. I did get a nice bunch of stats on the Islamic world that didn't really prove anything (I mean it was interesting to learn what percentage believed Sharia law was the correct way to live in Pakistan Vs in Northern Africa for example...)

Dude's going to walk away with a headache, most likely, and hopefully a hefty fine, but my train was, predictably, cancelled. We could probably do something in yellow and black, but without a cape as it would just get in your way. Maybe vulcanized rubber so you don't get electrocuted?

As for what's messing with my groove, people. Stupid people. Dumb people. People that dont want to understand so purposefully stand in your way. So essentially all conservatives and regressives.
