There is apparently a gunman at the Cascade Mall in Burlington Washington. Reportedly 4 dead. Hope nobody here is close?

I'm about an hour away

I just saw a NFL like commercial for a presidential debate. I am in shock. WTF.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I am surprised that this surprises you.
I'm expecting them to announce that the moderator for the next debate will be Tina Turner in a chainmail dress.

Kind of groove, but more amusing. At a path conference in vegas where the gym and Internet is $35 a day, but to use the showers you have to pay for the $40 spa. And if you want to use the stairs, you need an escort...

back home from vacation.

Work tomorrow, but I seem to have misplaced my office keys. We gave all the house keys to the neighbours, so I took off the work key ring off the keychain, and put it in a "safe place". Now I naturally can't recall what it was.

The Saints weren't disbanded and universally jailed after they got caught deliberately and systematically trying to injure other players? That seems like a pretty big oversight.

Unfortunately, it was very short and sweet - we lost Aura at the end of last week. All the care in the world can't correct problems from vitamin deficiencies in the first few weeks of life with the breeder. Sadly her sister is looking like going the same way for the same reason. It was weird not being greeted on Saturday by her shouting for food and clumsily shuffling up to the edge of her box so she could see you.

I am thankful it's the close of season soon and I have the winter to just settle down and train before they think about getting new babies in next year. Obviously, we won't be using that breeder again. Damn shame though, I'll miss the little ball of fluff ;)

Elder niece (she's 20) is in hospital with severe abdominal pain for a few days now, ruled out appendix issues...and we THINK ruled out cancer (thankfully), but she's still in horrible crippling pain and it may be Crohn's or some other chronic intestinal malady...she's got more than one doctor looking at her right now as they are kind of baffled. Doing more tests.

This kid has been through so many health issues in her life, she needs a break man. Poor kid.

Time negotiations with the Ex. I think it is going fine, I just hate interacting with her at this point in my life. I wish I could just have my boys and never have to talk to or look at her again. Someday, we will be more on talking terms I am sure, but it is hard now days, especially now that a new gf is giving me a life I never imagined possible thanks to my lesbian and narcissistic ex.

Having issues with Excel (2010) and cant find a formula or even know if its possible.

I'm trying to idiot proof a number of work books to stop the idiots I work with breaking them once I leave (yay) and as such I require a formula similar to an IF formula that changes the value in a cell based upon the current month.

Its a workbook that is used for reporting, however it reports monthly an annual statistics for our public facing team, I have formulae to easily display annual figures in an 'at a glance' table but I need the monthly totals to change based on the current date, does anyone know if this is even possible?

Looks like the battery on my 6 and a half y.o. Toshiba Lappy finally died. It's basically not charging anymore. Meaning as soon as it's unplugged, it dies.

I wasn't planning on getting a new laptop anytime soon. Especially since my choices are gonna be ones with Windows 8 or 10, and I'm not sure which I dislike more.

Now I gotta add a spare laptop battery to my list of electronic items to shop for in the near future (right alongside new phone and bluetooth earbud headphones. Oh, and an e-reader.)

Sent you a PM Centz.

Why are more people not well versed in Excel, I hate trying to idiot proof everything.
