Oh and she smiled a real smile at both my sister-in-law and my wife...and nada for me yet.

Sigh.

If you're not working with your best material, babies can tell. You need to workshop that stuff with outside babies and come back with like a solid 5 minute set.

And if it makes you feel any better, it was probably just gas anyway.

It seems more like mimicry, as each time it has happened it was at the prompt of my wife and her sister grinning at her and asking her to smile....

so MY smile will hopefully be genuine!

Anyways, that's what I'm clinging to.

Pain is breaking through current percocet dosage and I am out (to get more later today, but until then expecting excruciating pain).

QT, if it helps at all, my son is now 5 and I struggle to get a kiss from him in the morning before work or even an acknowledgement of love, don't take it personal

Still waiting to hear what is going to happen to my ex husband in the child porn case. Does anyone know how many announcements they usually do before they decide to plea or go to trial?

Can depend on multiple things - previous offences, plea deal, how generous/confident the prosecutor is feeling, how confident the defence lawyer is feeling, nature of the material leading to the charge...

I never learned to touch type in high school (quality education huh). I'm trying to learn know and jesus christ is it hard.

Mind, I'm not a choose and peck typist, I know where every key is. I just use two finger to type which means my wrist gets fucked if I type any more than 200 words in a sitting.

I love the website I've found for it, it feels like those stupid phone games where you're always trying one more time for that next high score.

Kids know how to get you where it hurts. Youngest always calls for mommy when upset and the eldest told me he is glad he was not spending a lot more time with me because I have too many rules. Nothing like being a parent.

Kids are psychopaths until around 8. Then they start to slowly turn into edgy teenagers that you cannot possibly endure. When grown up, they will ignore you because they have more interesting things to do...

My personal opinion ...

I think I'm getting too old to pull allnighters, especially with looming deadlines. Unfortunately, I do my quickest and tidiest work when a deadline is looming *sigh*

Also, stupid idiot me has managed to catch a cold last night, while it was 20°C.

You mean everyone does not do this?

The only way to really work is to procrastinate till the last 24 hours.

Impending doom, motivation at it's best. I live for that rush.

Fucking YouTube! How the fuck do you create a channel if it won't let you type in the tabs? I'm bout to break shit

Go create a YouTube account on your desktop/laptop.

Then figure out what's up with your PS browser (maybe needs updating/resetting). Then do the "figure out how to select the word box" stuff. Or call a tech support pro who can walk you through everything.

My sympathies Maccy.

I'm having similiar issues today. I couldn't hold breakfast down at all and had to leave work sick. I've only had one other sick day in the past three years. Ugh.

To top that off, baby Katie has started teething already. We can see the tip of one of her lower canines poking up and through. Do to this, she hasn't been sleeping well at night at all, waking up every two hours maximum screaming her little heart out. Why is she doing this already? She's only going to hit 12 weeks on thursday... Oh, AND she's already flipping herself over front to back whenever we try to get her some tummy time. I blame it on the extra two weeks she stubbornly refused to come out...
