Fucked up hand in warehouse. Bleeding tract back to offices with my shocked ass in circles looking for door. Nearly severed fucking finger.

Driver complained about driving me to doctor.

Yay!
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

That's horrific and terrifying. Please say it wasn't one of your middles!

Stomach is not well

My sympathies Maccy.

I'm having similiar issues today. I couldn't hold breakfast down at all and had to leave work sick. I've only had one other sick day in the past three years. Ugh.

To top that off, baby Katie has started teething already. We can see the tip of one of her lower canines poking up and through. Do to this, she hasn't been sleeping well at night at all, waking up every two hours maximum screaming her little heart out. Why is she doing this already? She's only going to hit 12 weeks on thursday... Oh, AND she's already flipping herself over front to back whenever we try to get her some tummy time. I blame it on the extra two weeks she stubbornly refused to come out...

Some babies are born w teeth. And it's pretty impressive if she can flip over at 12 weeks.

You know the screaming baby that is always in the doctors waiting room? Today it belonged to me, my doc was running 45mins late and I forgot his dummy. Waaaahhhhhh! I am either getting arthritis or have more post-natal fucked-uppery. Have not felt healthy for over 12 months now and getting sick of it big time.

Memories of divorce. I just came up with a great analogy. The divorce was a sacral pressure ulcer, and now that the pressure point is mostly removed (with periods of return when the ex gets greedy), the smelly, suppurating, bone deep with osteomyelitis wound can begin healing, having scraped clear the dead tissue and begun antibiotics.

Ugh yes, waiting rooms are bad enough with a baby; forgetting the dummy? I feel your pain! We forgot one once on a trip out and my daughter wailed and screamed constantly the entire time.

My groove is messed because even though she is now 6, she will.. not .. go.. to bed.
Every night is the same; she delays going up, delays doing her teeth etc, and after a story she won't let me leave. If I go anyway she screams and goes into meltdown mode, yelling and banging her door, even chucking stuff down the stairs.
If I sit on the bed with her, she goes to sleep. When I get up to leave, she wakes up enough to grab on again - back to square one! If I wait until she's asleep, then creep out, I'm ok, but one creak of the stairs and she's off again.
It takes feckin ages! Every feckin night!
We've tried various bribery/punishment/rewrd schemes - she doesn't give a shit, she'd rather have a massive tantrum.

Her four year old brother goes to sleep in like three minutes, no fuss. Boys are so straight forward. He's tired, he thinks 'I'll go to sleep!' The girl thinks 'I've been told it's bedtime and I need my sleep. I'm not tired! *yawns* I must resist! Screw you world, I'm not giving in!

I need some diazepam for kids. And a blowpipe.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

So WTF? We have:
1) Terrorist bombings and stabbings over the weekend
2) More officer involved shootings
3) Trump campaigning for president, and actually pulling half of the votes
4) North Carolina declaring a state of emergency because of violent protests

AND THE BRAD AND ANGELINA SPLIT IS THE NUMBER 1 HEADLINE?

Fuck me. My mind is blown.

Look at it this way, only one of those things has never happened before.
Also, stupidity.

In the process of building a house.

Called an equipment rental place last week and told them i need a crane, boom truck, or something else that can set trusses on the house. OK, no problem they say.

Today they showed up with a telehandler.

If you dont know what a telehandler is, this is all you need to know. IT WONT WORK FOR SETTING RESIDENTIAL TRUSSES!!!!

So, we try again monday.

An absolutely idiotic traffic snarl and a major glitch in the subway just added an hour to my commute. I did get to read more, but now I am totally tired and late for a dinner date.

Leaving hometown, where I spent almost 25 years, for a new job in another country tomorrow. The emotional meltdown is making me aware of how nested I was in my comfort zone.

Required a lot of pain meds today thanks to straining. Kind of a vicious cycle since opiates prevent decent transit time... let sigh

For some idiotic reason I decided to take the LSAT while in the second year of uni.

It will be fine I said, I will have less stress I said.

No, it won't be fine. I'm stressed out of my mind despite the fact that the test can have absolutely no negative consequences for me. The evaluation apprehension is fucking real.

In other news, I have to take the exam tomorrow and I've already pooped twice today (I'm on a twice a week schedule, or was ...)

Is there anything worse than diarrhea during a test?

There is apparently a gunman at the Cascade Mall in Burlington Washington. Reportedly 4 dead. Hope nobody here is close?
