Exercise. Waaaaah. Swam a really lame distance extremely slowly and now I'm in absolute agony.

Also parenthood has made watching Fear The Walking Dead feel really stressful. Before I would think "Well I'm bound to die in the first wave" but now I've got frickin responsibilities.

It's the main series that always got me.
Whenever Judith wasn't in somebody's arms I was screaming at the TV "GET THE BABY GOD DAMMIT!"
Haha.

Still no sniff of a job for me either.

That sucks. What kind of job are you looking for?

A teenage boy died in my city. There was severe waterlogging after a heavy shower and he tripped and caught a lamp post to stop himself from falling. The wiring panel was exposed and he was instantly electrocuted. This happened 5 minutes from my house. I walk down that street at least once a week. His parents are understandable inconsolable. And the damn city administration is not doing anything

A suicide bombing in Pakistan just killed almost every senior lawyer in the province of Baluchistan. More than sixty are dead and more are wounded. Hundreds are now unemployed and the courts of Baluchistan just ground to a near total halt.

The good people will grieve and go on building good things slowly again while the bad ones celebrate and look to gain from this.

I think he's referring to Prince's addiction to pain killers (initially used for his bum hip) and the fact that said addiction is what caused his death (and the fact that he made sure he could get them easily with his star power). I think they are tamping down on prescript pain meds in the States because of it?

Agreed. That sucks BK. Hopefully you find a way to deal with it. It sucks that some people ruin it for others.

And they just cut me further. Last day open is Sept 30 and they are weening people. I'm just mad as fuck now. Wtf am I supposed to do to not hurt? I'm gonna have to be one of those guys and buy it off street! That's what the pencil pushers are going to force people to do. Be buyers and many will just eat a bullet instead. My sis maybe one of them with her unstable ass. I'm not a mean guy but I could dig him up and piss on his body for the literal pain he has personally fucking done to me.

Shit BK this really sucks.

How far will you have to go to get another doctor? Also isn't this something that should get political attention?

Either of the cities I mentioned is a good 3 1/2-4 hr drive each way. It is the politicians doing it. Like I said they are going to have a lot of angry family to deal with when 1000's choose suicide or even crime to in attempts get meds.

Yeah I mean these type of regulations are basically begging to incite more problems.

Is there a limit to the amount of meds you can purchase? LIke can you buy 6 months worth of pills in one visit? A 4 hour drive sounds terrible in itself, plus getting a new doctor...

Speak to your health insurance people. You can work with them to find a new provider (although it might still be a hike).

One of the guys at me new company has decided that as I read I must want to listen to him wax lyrical about the shite he reads. Going off his description it sound vaguely like something that was the butt of a lot of jokes in the reading now thread.
Werewolves and were lions and wereanimals. I was tempted to ask if it had weredolphins.

Kate Daniels series? It's a fun time. Not the greatest ever, but it doesn't aim for that.

Ambushed by pain.

while I was worrying so much about my L. ankle, I somehow mmissed the fact that my right quad/groin got pulled.

It bit me hard during the game today. Nevermind the fact I also got my 4th right toe smashed by 2 spikes of a cleat. running hurt, and then I had to block an airball by wrapping my extended right leg around a forward moving into it. I made the block, but that was pretty much the end of my participation in the game.

Sitting is not really comfortable right now. it's one of those weird muscles that goes from the leg by the abdomen and into the ribs that's spasming. it's not so much painful as it is annoying. But stretching and running are out of the question for now. Which is bad, b/c I have outdoor cup game on Sat, and indoor playoffs are next week.

hopefully it'll settle down overnight, and tomorrow I can devote most time in the pool to sidestroke to stretch it gently.

You ever thought about settling down, getting into jigsaw puzzles instead?
