It's May 16th, and it was 3 damned degrees when I left the house this morning, and it bloody well snowed/hailed a bit yesterday.

I should not have to wear a medium winter coat to work on May bloody 16th.

SpongeBob Squarepants... I can reconcile pretty much everything except the squirrel.

Why is there a squirrel in a spacesuit (wearing a bikini under the spacesuit), living in a dome under the sea?

So... you don't get the squirrel living under the sea, but you DO get everything else?...

Interesting...
If your cat wasn't meant to fly, why wouldn't they make them bigger?

Yes... semi-intelligent anthropomorphized sea creatures thriving on fake crab patties that are obviously heavily laden with hallucinogens. No problem. My suspension of disbelief is firmly suspended.

Til the squirrel. I cannot accept the squirrel. Who wears a bikini. Under her spacesuit.

The squirrel is a scientist. That's all you need to know.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I always assumed it was an underwater biodome.

Basically, the squirrel is Pauly Shore.

I guess I should count myself lucky my 3 year old boy likes Octonauts, Danger Mouse, Pixar and Dinosaur movies (for all ages, incl Jurassic World).

EDIT: at least at his age he sees the I-Rex eating everyone as exciting rather than scary. he runs around going "Rarr! T-Rex (I don't bother to correct him) eating him!" etc.
He likes the Raptors too, although he calls them Rappers.

Me "Rappers? Don't you mean Raptors?"
Him "No Daddy, him rappers!"
Me "Well, they also hunt in packs I guess, although they call them 'Crews'."
Him "Cooze?"
Me "Uh, that's a word we probably shouldn't use ..."

My boy likes the first JP, JP 3 (spinosaurus!) and he's seen JW a few times now. But his favourite is still Godzilla.. he just loves it. He likes 'new' godzilla, but his favourite seems to be Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla (80's version) which has some good fights.

Best youtube vid - godzilla vs king kong. It's so so funny - when Kong shoves that tree in G's mouth we were in bits.

I'm really pleased but also a bit wary that he also chooses to put Futurama on. It's so funny but has a lot of inappropriate content for a 3 yr old. The worst habit he's picked up is copying Fry when he moons out of the window at Mom; the first time he did it against the shower door and I was too busy laughing to tell him not to.

Groove messed with as I'm stuck in work on such a sunny day.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Danger Mouse is awesome!!!

It's mostly Scooby-Doo (all the versions), Tansformers Rescue Bots, Ultimate Spider-man, Pokėmon, and Power Rangers for tv in our home. Movies tend to be dinosaur movies, Scooby Doo movies, and Toy Story.

Apparently paying alimony and child support doesn't affect student loan payments, well actually it does...

With a smaller family I will soon pay more per month when everything is recalculated..

??? I would have thought you still had the same number of financial dependents, even if they aren't living with you?

Minus wife.

But I may still get it to work. I think the loan idiots didn't know what they were talking about. Needs more research

Nah they're fools.
Alimony has to count as a dependant, same with child support.

What's messing with my groove? The cost of public transport in England is simply fucking ridiculous. I can get from Bratislava to Budapest for a tenner but to get from one london airport to another costs me £40.
Go fuck yourselves british rail.
