Something to bear in mind for a future situation, I guess! Posted Image

Boxed set of 'The Malazan Book of the Fallen' - no idea how old your kids are but they can look at it from 0-5 then maybe touch from 6-10 then start reading slowly.... :)

I found a box set of the Horrible Histories books for my boy. Which I'm sure he will enjoy when he learns to read.

Until then I'll just "keep them warm" for him. :)

Meanwhile we both enjoy the TV show. :D

Groove messing currently ... got hit in the shin by a cricket ball a couple of weeks ago and the decent-sized lump shows no sign of abating. The doc put me on antibiotics and gave me a compression bandage. If there's no progress by the end of the week they may send me for a scan.
The worst part it was in the nets ... and I wasn't even batting or bowling, I was just trying to stop a full-blooded drive that went past the bowler. That's what I get for trying to be nice. Lesson learned: don't be nice. :p
Yeah yeah, I know the first thing they teach in basic fielding is not just sticking the foot out, but I'm old and lazy.

Oooww cricket ball on the shin is going to hurt a lot! You might have to end up getting an x-ray. I remember when I used to play, in the nets we didn't always use thigh pads and several times the ball just bounced of my leg. (I was really weak on the legside)

Given my marital situation, Cold, Cold Man by St. Motel seems ultimately depressing to me.

Are you ashamed of your cofee ? Did you, maybe, pour milk in it ? You don't need to be ashamed you know, not every one is cut for the bitter but reviving taste of a good black and hot cofee.

Coffee is a personal choice.
We don't judge here.

Also, spiders.

Same here. Its the 11th of December and I am still wearing shorts! The lowest temp we have had is 19C - 66F. WInter is not here, the weather is oscillating between warm and cool, and everybody is sick because of the unseasonable humidity.

Well I hope you got that I was joking. I just judge criminals, and very harshly at that. And by the way, I don't own a single tshirt. I'm from the old country, I wear chainmail and armor, lest I'll be ambushed by French brigands, while going to work for my Grand-Duke.

It's 70 atm. That's about 10 higher than the normal average. The weather people had me so excited for fall/winter this yr saying the possibility of snow was much greater then normal and now they are like " oh it's going to be unseasonably hot yada yada"

Sigh is it to much to ask for me to be able to have frozen snot caked on while I frolic around my stump fires at night....

Thats fine, I was joking about the t-shirt.

...We were not, however, joking about the mindwipe. Does Monday at 1400 work for you or do you need an early morning appointment?
