Happy MLK Day. Everyone else seems to have it off, except me...

not me, Necro King, I continue to serve

Ah, another faithful grunt. It's nice to know all the peasants are not free.

Don't resonate with me, I can't afford the psyche-wracking turmoil caused by an acknowledgement of my plight

He's fine though.
Just the road to recovery to travel now.....

Hope your sons ok SS.

I hope his recovery is swift (being a child that will mean he will be running about like a hyperacive puppy in no time)

How'd he managed it?

Probably saw a balloon float down into a storm drain and reached down to get it.

Haha. They all float.

Well he was just doing laps around the living room and he stumbled and rolled, obviously quite awkwardly. Not a pretty sight I assure you.
He's still sore, but managing the odd laugh and smile.
I'm sure he'll be well enough in a few weeks to be risking a similar injury. :|

Thanks for response guys.

You need to force feed that child some milk.

Or strap some memoryfoam around him.

What ever is cheaper.

I think a combination of both would be for the best.
Maybe a VR Set to simulate his childhood in the safety of an armchair.

Just had a semi-irate octagenarian come into the office to hassle me about his bill, I hate cleaning up other people's messes. He was telling me about the 1950's, kind of reminded me of my own granddad. We parted with a handshake and all it took was a 10% discount.

Been expecting a code for a group suit hire for around four months now for my sister's wedding, paid for and all. Finally get a message through about it.

Wouldn't you know it, it turns out it's not a group hire which means I have to fund it myself. And being that my means are few, that means no saving for my own wedding for at least two months. Which puts us back substantially being that I can barely save for the wedding as is.

And they wonder why I'm narked about it.

Quit bitching about the cost and come down with the flu the day of the wedding. *shrug* Statistically she's bound to have another wedding in the future and maybe you'll have more money for that one.

It occurs to me that that could be misinterpreted. I meant quit bitching to your sister about the cost, not us. Just let her think you're ok with it. Then get sick and don't go to the wedding. Money never spent is money saved.

I've actually worked something out with Mother Dearest meaning I can pick it up.

If I'm not at the wedding it will fall apart as I'm part of the procession that gives her away. If I'm not there, well, shit will probably go down and it's just not worth the risk.

New shoes are rubbing that bit behind the achilles tendon something fierce. They'll be fine once they soften up but until then I might need to get some ultra manly blister plasters. Ow.

Getting severely fed up with mrs T swearing at the kids.

I don't care how annoying they're being, constantly hearing her telling them to 'stop fucking her off' is making my blood boil.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

That's insanity. Mr. T never cursed at the kids. I pity the fool who thinks that's the best way to parent.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Why can't we turn people like this into fertiliser? At least then they'd finally have a use.

My mother. And politics. Now there's a mood destroying combo. Also, the way she claims anything that comes out of my mouth are lies. Thanks, now please ask again why I never, ever talk to her about anything. How can anything I say be lies when I'm not saying a darn thing? Heeey, at least I had almost a whole day that was not spent in a very dark and very dangerous mood. Wonderful.
