My ex reached out to me after ten months of no contact to talk about deleting intimate photos of us/her (which I did long ago of my own volition).

My groove is messed with because she did this almost immediately after my current significant other put up photos of us ice skating on Instagram/Facebook for the first time. When I gently questioned why she was contacting me in a general way, she said that a friend had a photo revenge scenario happen to her and she wanted to know what I'd done with the intimate photos from our relationship - but wasn't concerned that I'd misuse them, just curious as to their status.

I kept an even keel, expressed sorrow that her friend experienced that particular awfulness and reassured her concerns, but it's a complex topic to talk about in such a manner at a weird time. Knowing her for the last five years, I believe that a good portion of this reach-out was motivated by a bit of jealousy and a desire to make it so that I was thinking about her at this time instead of my SO. I'm glad we broke up because we honestly didn't work well together in many different spots and this is a reminder of that as well. Grrr....

Also, two days later, my ankles are still borked from ice skating in bad rental shoes. I didn't fall and skated alright, which is nice for not skating since my one and only time at age 7, but I'd have taken a bruised butt over these janky ankles...
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Awesome job opportunity went silent. Was supposed to be 2-3 weeks wait for next leg, but it's been a month now. No word either way yet. I'm confused, as I'm certain I aced the test and my first interview.
Trying to contact them for an update has yielded... no results. Just an automatic reply to be patient.

Imagining if the budget had never stopped for NASA from that max 5% of the budget in the 60's..where we could be..if it had grown and never stopped.

3.4 Trillion in Spending this year.. 5% = 170 Billion 10%= 340 Billion..etc.

We spend 18 Billion in probably the most important program. <.5%>

Just as a thought...Quantitative Easing Cost America 4 trillion since 2008 alone. Nasa has gotten 2% in comparison.

I have a long few days in work setting up another store including a 17 hour day yesterday. Today on a precious day off when I should be xmas shopping ive done nothing but sleep. I feel so drained and have to go out tonight for a birthday meal followed by my brothers birthday night out tomorrow. I will be ordering a pint of blanket and 3 shots of pillows if it goes on till late which it inevitably will.

This plus the knowledge that next week is a 50 hour week minimum is puffling my jigglies.

Serial. I love the podcast. Sarah and I listen to it together and it's pretty great. Sarah Koenig is a great producer, and Ira Glass' influence is also felt and appreciated throughout. However, the absolute disgusting acts of the judiciary, and especially the prosecution in this case is pissing me off something fierce. It seems clear to me that they decided early that they needed a conviction, and that Adnan was their best option to make that happen, regardless of whether it was at all ethical to bring the case to trial. Some of the choices made are simply jaw dropping.

So, test results on my tumour were not good. But, if you were going to pick a "good" cancer for lack of a better phrase, this isn't a bad one. Got it very early and a better than good chance everything will be fine in the long run. Lots of positives considering Posted Image

If I wasn't already on a re-read, I'd have just dived back into Gardens and refused to come back out I think!
