My bio teacher said i should chew a willow leaf to see that it had aspirin like effects. The right side of my mouth is numb and the left side wants to throw up because the leaf tasted so bad.

Fassbender maybe set to shoot his career in the foot with this:

http://www.kotaku.co...ns-creed-movie/

Part of me wants it to be like all other videogame movies - terrible - but part of me wouldn't mind a good game adaption to show how it's done before someone starts on an ME movie. God I hope they never make an ME movie....

I don't know AC:Lineage wasn't too bad so it's possible it'll be a decent film.

Exactly, it all depends on how it's done I think. Some quality stars, a good director and a decent script is all they really need. If the writing is rushed or the story is dumbed down for mass appeal then it'll probably end up like most other video-game adaptations, which would be a pity.

They'll hand it off to Uwe Boll, and I will murder a thousand thousand children.

So did I, which is why I put 'most'. From what I've read though we appear to be in the minority.

Thats fine. We are in the Minority for reading Erikson and liking him over trash like 50 shades and twilight.

I'm happy to be a fantasy novel hipster, I guess?

Surely a better comparison would be Goodkind or some other terribad generic SF rather romance fiction?

By the way everyone, HarperCollins' answer to 50 shades, 'Destined to Play', is infinitely worse than 50 shades. Yayyy! ...This thread is a good place to put that statement.

Eventually the general romance book reading population will discover the internet has better written smut for free, and then all this ridiculous hype will die down.

My 100% success rate with Malazan is broken.

Everyone I know personally who has read it has loved it. Until now. Just found out that one of my friends read Gardens of the Moon recently and wasn't absorbed by it at all.

*sighs and hangs head in shame*

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty is handing my arse to me!

I played you years ago and you weren't this difficult!

I've become too accustomed to having 360° range of view and a camera angle that isn't stationary.

Curse you, Konami!!!
