Weather. Winter is coming, and this saps me of energy.

which is terrible, since I've got 2 major paper due dates in the upcoming month. And no desire to put any work into either.

On top of this, i'm steadily falling more and more behind in another class, which I dislike.

Need to focus and get back on track. But I'm so tired of school. So instead I pour my limited energy into work and soccer. which is stupid, but helps me get through each week.

no desire to work in school, no serious prospects for the future. I feel like I don't belong.

Stupid, b/c I know it's a phase and i'll get over it, as I always do. but right now it's really messing with me.

The fact that society seems to say that fathers have no rights when it comes to unborn children.
And all because the woman is the one who carries the child and 'a woman should have the right to control what happens to her body.'

It's bullshit. Fathers have just as much right to determine the child's fate as mothers do.

(Not looking for discussion, just ranting.)

Easy solution, don't impregnate people who think they have the right to bodily autonomy.

So what, I can't get a girl pregnant, chain her down and force her to endure a nine month long process irrevocably changing her body and containing a not ignorable chance of death, then steal the baby away and raise it myself, causing the breeding vessel mother more torment on top? What idiot gave you gals rights anyway?

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Hurricane on one coast, earthquake on another.

Time to round up the gays.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Work tomorrow and the slim possibility that Mitt might win and thus cause the 2012 apocalypse is messing with my groove.

Mitt ain't gonna win (*crosses fingers, does somersault, and screams at a mirror). The Electoral College might actually favor the sane world this time. He's losing in key battleground states.

If he does win I suggest a kickstarter fund to pay someone to assassinate him. Might set a bad precedent, but hey, it's probably worth it.

Also I call dibs on the movie rights if that happens.

On the brightside, if he does win it'll give the rest of the world one more legitimate reason to make fun of the USA.

Men shouldn't cackle. Check him for rabies or something.

On the other hand, you looking forward to your shower today? Lol. Grossy josey.

One of the barmaids refused to serve me last night

Not for being too drunk, I genuinely don't know what I did to offend the girl, but she wouldn't even speak to me to let me ask.
None of the other bar staff could establish the reason, this annoys me because I make a point of never being rude to barstaff, having done five years behind the counter.
She's not working today so I can't even jar her about it

Having successfully steered her away from it for years, I just walked in to hear mrs T say 'I just watched Twilight. It was quite good actually. '

NOOOO!
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.
