Mothers day yesterday, talking after a wonderful lunch, then Mum let slip that Pop (her father) had stopped taking his medication when he was told he couldn't drive anymore (he had been in hospital a number of times by this point, had heart surgery and his health was sliding).

Mum had been cleaning his house thinking that he would be discharged in the next two days when he called. She thinks he was trying to tell her that he was going to stop taking his medication, but she was tired and frustrated and sad, and he was the same, so they argued. He passed away the following day.

So she brought all this up yesterday - feels like a bad daughter, that she should have known - and she and I had a big cry about it. I'm kind of glad she brought it up while I was there, since Dad and my brother are a bit emotionally awkward, so I think it helped that she had someone to cry with and hug... Still, kind of a sad way to spend mother's day.

My brother found out a few months ago that he has a currently benign tumour. Yesterday was his 21st and he dislocated his shoulder and had to go to hospital to have it reset. While he was their they did some tests and discovered that he has hemorrhaging behind one of his eyes. They need to send the results away and will get back to us in the next 24 hours but the doctor said that whilst it could be nothing to worry about we should be aware of the possiblity and likelihood of a worse case scenario.

That just sucks.

Not a big deal given the serious issues that abound with other folk but I just broke up with my gf of almost 2 years. Havnt gt the time to mope, though I dont really feel like moping probably because I havnt got the time

. Still I suppose im single for the whole three weeks of uni that are left.

I've recently realized all of the recent pictures of me are of me either:
1) drunk
2) gesticulating wildly
3) looking confused
4) all of the above.
