Yeah, mine are only red because of a med-bay malfunction.

Well, your situation sure sucks sweaty, dirty, diseased camel's balls. Sorry but my place won't take cats and it's kinda small. I could probably host you guys for a week or 2 but after that we'd drive each other psychotic. Actually, probably before that point. :)

I've found a cattery I can afford for the cats but I can't think about that too much because I know what my cats are like and they are not going to do well there (I went on a holiday for a week once and had to come back early because Whiskeyjack had fretted so much a vet thought he was going to die if he didn't stop worrying - I mean, I know I'm awesome but seriously cat!) I'm going to lodge forms first thing tomorrow morning at the Department of Housing and then all I need to do is find some where to live for the next *unknown amount* weeks/months until a) I suddenly get well enough to work, get work, and can aford my own place or ii) it's January.

So far this year sucks. Mass Effect 3 better be as good as I hope in order to make up for all of this :p

Sweets, so sorry you're having to deal with this, it seriously sucks butt :)
I can't, unfortunately, help in any practical sense, but I am thinking of you and hoping that you nd your cats find a long term home very soon x

Hopefully things will work out okay but because of the 5 day weekend we effectively have only one week to find a place....*sigh* At least when I have kids and they complain about something I can use this as one of my 'Well, when I was younger...yadda yadda yadda' stories. :)

My car's ignition is on the fritz again, but thankfully the fiancee offered to drive me to work so that I don't have to make the hour long trek by bus, work is only 25 minutes away but the bus route is convoluted and it's always standing room only on the route this early in the morning.

I hope everything works out, I know how it is to be evicted through no fault of your own, I ended up couch surfing for about a month before another friend of mine found out and cleaned out their home office so I'd have an actual room.

I can't finish Portal, let alone start Portal 2 :) After 5 minutes of playing I feel really ill and have to flee my computer so I don't throw up on it :p It is such and amusing game that I really enjoy otherwise. Stupid vertigo.

Two months until I have to pay for my new house and my financing is still unsure. What's more, I don't know how much I need to loan or mortgage if I can't pay the full sum, so I can't arrange alternatives either.

Sleepless nights and stress are incoming and I am seriously considering buying a train ticket and a hotel reservation somewhere in Europe for the easter weekend to get away from it all.

It is just a form of escapism, and when I feel shit like this, it follows a rather pre-set pattern, one that isn't doing much for me or my mood.

I arrive, go to the hotel, sleep, wake up, read a book, sleep some more, go into town, get lost, don't see much of the sights, befriend the mini-bar, fall asleep in a drunken stupor, spend the day in my room taking showers and feeling sorry for myself, pack my bags, get lost some more, take the train back.

So, not going to do that.
