My boss saying the photo I suggested of myself for the work Bio made me look like a shaggy drug addict. I was aware that I might have to get my hair cut one day, but not because of fucking work. Just because I have the same amount of interest in my hair as a smack addict. There's nothing wrong with that surely?

The screen on my replacement Nook just took a shit, goddamn it!
Thankfully customer service was nice and didn't give me shit about sending out another replacement. So another 3-4 days without my Nook and I was really getting into The Wise Man's Fear, thankfully I had finished tCG... Twice in one month I guess I'm gonna have to baby the hell outta the damn thing... Do they make an Otterbox for the Nook?

I feel worse than I did yesterday abd am finding it hard to type due to swelling joints. Have fully feldged man-flu and am lyying around moaing like a beached whale. Am going to take more painkillers and hva a bath, then crash.

Okay, the need to break things has passed. Now I just want to buy things. Stupid attraction of retail therapy!

Maybe I should redirect this urge to splurge in a more constructive direction. My home computer (a Dell mass-produced, basic desktop) is over five years old, and should really have passed on a while back. It still works and all, it's just slow and not very shiny. Will maybe give it away. Anyways. Computer. I will build a new one, stronger, better, faster, shinier. Shove it into Luci's old Lian Li case. Yes, that could work. I might be rambling.

There was a bomb scare near where I live today lol. They closed off half the streets in the city, made traffic so slow, I was about ready to...explode.

If you look a few posts back when I was blind drunk thinking Im Lenny Henry dishing out goods to the homeless is still messing with my groove because sittin in the street with only a tshirt on till two in the morning doees give you a cold the next day aswell as make you feel like a twat.

A friend of mine, possibly my oldest friend and one I've had since I was 12, has vanished again. He's done this before, disappearing for months before coming back, and one time arranged to meet me at a park bench and turned up half a year later. Recently when he's done this he's gone without answering calls, texts or emails, and generally I've not minded as I know he'll be back when he wants to. But this time he's been gone for a lot longer than I'd thought, and he's removed the last connection I thought would get to him without being ignored when he either defriended and completely hid his account on facebook or flat out deleted it. It is the first time I've ever given a shit about shenanigans on facebook and it's rather vexing, honestly. He's one of the few dudes I thought I could trust with anything and I miss my friend, you know?

TOmorrow's exam is on one of the two subjects I did poorly in the winter. and there's still a decent chunk of material to go, and it's not easy.
