What a beautiful girl. I'm sorry to read that Tsundoku, it's never easy. The kindest thing for them is inevitably the hardest for us.

Thanks, you are 100% correct. I nearly broke, definitely had apple-sized lumps in the throat and stumbled over my words a few times.

The mobile vet was amazing though, would recommend her to anyone.

It's a wonderful way to ease the passing. To the very end, you all took care of her and gave her the best life. That's love and I'm sorry for the loss you're feeling.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

I'm sorry to hear. Losing a dog is as hard as losing a friend or family member. Your lifetime pet is after all just that.

Love that couch hug photo! You should get that framed, after some time.

Anthony Head has died. Loved him in Buffy and Ted Lasso (though I kind of hated him in the latter but that was because he played the part so well, and the character was horrible haha)

Losing a pet is a kick in the heart for sure, but I agree with everyone else that giving them a good send off means the world.
And dang, Anthony Stewart Head is a sad loss too. I'm sure he was in a ton of UK stuff but here Giles was obviously his biggest role, and the warm blanket of the show.
And yesterday, the news of Marjane Satrapi (who created Persepolis, both the comic and the movie, among other things). Doozy of a week.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Thanks guys, appreciate it. :)

And yeah, ASH was great as Giles, but you can also see he had so much fun as the baddie in Ted Lasso.

Been thru this more times than i care to think about, it's always brutal. She clearly was well loved, and you made the right call.

Sorry for your loss, Tsundoku. It's a horrid situation to go through.
