Beyond broken.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Not just the healthcare either. These school shooter drills... with primary school kids, on a regular basis - that is truly fucked up.

The parents outside after school are usually complaining about something, but it absolutely pales in comparison. To have to accept that something so atrocious might happen as part of every day life, because gun laws are put before children's lives must be horrific.

So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Glad you're getting it seen to, though, and here's hoping it's nothing serious.

If it was a heart attack did we save your life? Are we heroes? Will you reward us with more details about truck sex?

Please update when possible BK.

And yeah the American system is straight up dystopic.

I mean I am in India with no central healthcare coverage system, but still, a visit to an MD doctor, a blood pressure and ECG test would not be that expensive. Certainly not so prohibitive that people would hesitate to do it.

We TOTALLY saved his life. We ARE heroes. He can reward us by NOT doing that.

I'm a little scared at the moment since I'm the only breadwinner for my kids... hopefully I find something before my severance runs out.

That sucks, Bliss :p Hope you find something else soon!

In less serious news, what also sucks is my new haircut. How people manage to go from the picture of a men's bowl cut I show them to trying to "make it more feminine" is beyond me. I asked for a straight line and shaved sides, in other words, an undercut, and ended up with a standard "edgy girl" pixie cut. HOW? I HATE the edgy girl pixie cut. Always have. At least he shaved the back. I can recut the front and sides on my own.

Not a heart attack, not indigestion. EKG was good(though he did bring up the blood test to truly cement the no attack find but has to be done at hospital) enough he seemed unconcerned I would drop dead.

Ha he gave me a fist bump after my description of the lead up to the....explosion of pain.

His opinion is I have pleurisy which I have had twice before but I was always sick then. I’m not sick this time.. I initially found this diagnosis kinda strange at 1st since I ain’t hacking, but on reflection of the other two times the pain is kinda in the same area. No where near the same pain lvl this time though which has been pretty consistent and not letting up since Tuesday’s incident.

Thanks/and fuck off for the jolly laughs today!! :p

Dude, glad you're not dying/didn't have a heart attack!

Also, I had pleurisy as a youth and it hurt like hell. Hope you're feeling better soon. Just hang back on the truck boning until then. LOL

That absolutely sucks LB.

I hope that your situation is short lived. Are there any resources available that you can ask for help?

Absolutely this.

Pleurisy is not something to be dismissed, you need to get it treated.

Agreed. I had both Pleurisy and Pneumonia and was in hospital for 3 weeks in an oxygen tent.
