Anxiety, because work, and getting paid for it, and a potentially important client whom I'm working with for the first time

It's not called a snip. It's a strip of tissue from tip of tongue to tissue below it so when you stick your tongue out it just rolls behind teeth. I was snipped at birth and it somehow grew back. Sucked so bad.
And same thing with the lip tie (which is the tissue that holds your bottom or top lip down)...if it's too close to the lip edge, it can cause speech impediments and dental issues later in life....so they snip it (or laser it depending on the clinic). The lip tie can also interfere heavily with a baby's ability to get a deep latch when breastfeeding (which can in turn cause issues for the mom like a blocked duct, or mastitis).
Now that we've had it done for our daughter, we keep hearing from people who have also had one or the other done. It seems like it was common but no one talked about it.

Goddamn it but getting rid of diy waste in this country is ridiculous.
I've pulled out our old bathroom to do it up; but our local centre will only take one item a week. I've got sink, bath, toilet (two bits) tiles and plasterboard to get rid of. I managed to ditch the toilet at one centre the other day, went to a different on today and the same guy was working there! He recognised me and wouldn't let me chuck the sink, or any wood because it was within 7 days.
Even though I've gone for a year or so without chucking anything. It's not like I change a bathroom every week. And even though plasterboard is a standard building material you can't get rid of the stuff anywhere.
I feel like following the guy home and leaving it all on his driveway.

Damn that sucks! Where do you live? Here in Toronto we can leave an entire house-worth of old big stuff out and the curb and they will take every last bit away.

Seriously Trav how does that even make sense? Are they trying to force you to use commercial 'pay and dump' dumps?

It makes no sense. They let you take one item like a fence panel, sink, bath or whatever, or an 80l container of something like tiles. But only once in 7 days.
Seriously, after I dumped the toilet in the skip there, they said that was it. I had two plasterboard sheets, we were next to a fucking great plasterboard container and they wouldn't let me chuck it in. And I'd driven 12 miles to get there as the local place won't take plasterboard. Argggh!
Unless of course you pay them 40 odd quid for a car load, but fuck that.
And they're only open Friday-Monday!
No wonder there's a fly tipping problem in this country.

Have you checked to see if the trash company will allow you to rent a dumpster temporarily instead of the usual cans? I suppose that might be conditioned on what kind of residence you have, in terms of space available on your trash route.

That will be super expensive. Go find an ongoing construction project, and offer somebody 10 bucks to put your stuff in their dumpster.
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

You think so? I use a dumpster and it's like $10 more than a trash/recycling barrel combo per month. I think it very much depends on the locale/company.

You can hire a skip. But they don't like plasterboard either.
Best solution - smash stuff up, put in rubble sacks, put inside regular trash bags. Jeebus, it's like Escape from Colditz.
Also a Dr I work with is building a summer house - he has a hole for the foundation he's filling with rubble and says I can dump stuff in there. I think this looks like the best option unless I want to take a year just to get rid of some material you can buy anywhere.

Gained two pounds from yesterday to today despite eating only 1300 calories a day. It's probably water weight because I had a decent amount of salty shit but shit is still frustrating. That scale needs to go down every day.

Water weight fluctuates so if you are hitting that, don't worry too much about as much as 7 lbs between days. You'll be losing weight at a slower pace, but rounding into better and better shape.
You can do this!

Once I lost 11 lbs in water weight in a day. It was honestly kinda awful. Don't do that and expect a sustainable decline.

Yeah I know about cutting water weight. I used to wrestle. I've been the guy wearing plastics while exercising in a sauna. Nothing good about that.

Fucking ticket scalping cunts.
We're over in Liverpool for the game, had organised tickets for the 6 of us, now fucker who had promised us 4 has come up with some cockameme story about tickets being allocated only to the named ourchaser and he cant let us have them.
This is utter bullshit. I'll lay money on him selling them to someone else who offered him over face value.
Fuck you
