Four visits to see a doctor.
Two different antibiotics without effect. Prescribed a third.
One mistake at the pharmacy where they gave me an anti-seizure medication instead of the antibiotic.
Seven days on that neurological drug until I found out today that I had been given the wrong stuff.
Now I have the right drugs (hopefully) for another 10 days.
Still have the original problem.
Will need to see a doctor a fifth time some time next week.
Watching the healthcare system fail me in an epic slow motion crude oil packed train collision.

Also the government agency in charge of vehicles here thinks I still have a car that is licensed elsewhere when I had it changed years ago.

I think your problem DW is that no-one is sure you actually exist or not. Including your doctors...

Just caught up on FB for the first time in a while, largely out of curiosity. My gods my ex is an activist. I just am incredulous how frequently she is on and how much she posts. Not bad things mind you; she looks like she will be fighting against a lot of the evils of our society, especially as one of the persecuted herself. But I swear, I look at all that stuff and think we were both just holding each other back. I can't have a functioning, content, and happy life with her there. Obviously, the same in the reverse is true. I expected this to some degree, but I am still just shocked. Who did I marry and more importantly, who did I divorce?

Very intriguing questions! Just more proof that Facebook rules.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Having an ex-wife, or any ex, on facebook can be risky business.

Having to work super hard can cause a bad day.

Having to work super hard while struggling with a rubbish public transport commute can definitely cause a bad day.

Having to work super hard while struggling with a rubbish public transport commute while wet can make you just want the day to end so you can collapse.

Doing all of the above while on an empty stomach can make you want to embrace death

If I used fb regularly or even posted on it, I'd agree. I don't :-)

Morgy's statement is sadly true.

A spike in Fbook activity usually is signalling - most of the time signalling that one is available. It's less about actual work being done and more about looking good to others. This might not be true for everyone, but in the 11 or so years I've been using it, that's what I've seen many, many people do after break-ups (and done it a little myself too).
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

My sister emailed me this morning to tell me that my dog died. Friday night.

Got my cast off my wrist today after wrist surgery. Yay. I could get back to work. Or I would have if my computer did not choose that moment to kill my HDD. I think I managed to save most of my data. For my PhD. Had to get a new HDD. Am re installing all my drives and software now.

Haha. I drove to Vegas and back last weekend w/o AC, it was like 115F, and it looked like I peed my pants.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.
