I got an email from the ex of the girl I am seeing at the moment calling me a whole selection of lovely things and saying he hopes we both burn in hell. Lovely chap, evidently.

You should post the email for us broody.

OK, just for you I've reposted it. Please note I'm wondering wtf you are doing walking HIM and being freaked out ... :)

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Well you see that's what makes it worse, my memory said August 15th, I checked again with TB yesterday and she confirmed it to be tonight.
I don't know where it said Friday, or how August 15th translated into Friday.
And I'm not the only one who thought it was today, but unluckily I was out.

The Footie Season has started again. It seems like only yesterday it ended. Another 9 months of hitherto sane people getting obssessed with 22 idiots kicking an inflated pig's bladder around in a field and being treated like some sort of freak because I don't much care...
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. I still have no idea if I can make it to Sofia next week... SkyEurope is still banned from Vienna Airport... and I doubt they'll be able to solve the problem within next 3 days. And I had to cancel my trip to Amsterdam... now looking for alternatives... but there are not many left... *sigh*

If there was ever a tool less suited to it's purpose than a flymo lawn mower I have yet to use it.

Petrol mower - start engine, push it up, down, up, down, up down. Switch off engine, empty grass collector, make a cup of tea.

Flymo - Search entire house for extension cable, remove 17 knots from extenstion cable, find suitable plug for extension cable, thread extension cable down garden avoiding gnomes, ponds, BBQs, furniture etc. Plug into mower.

Push it up, down, up, down, up down. Then push it up, down, up, down, up down again because the hover mower doesn't hover. Repeat process several more times until boredom sets in.

Un plug extension cable, coil carefully and put in a safe place that you will definitely not remember next time you need it.

Pop round to mate's house and borrow his petrol mower. Start engine, push it up, down, up, down, up down. Switch off engine, empty grass collector, return mower and promise to buy mate a beer in the pub later.

I hate flymos.
