I'm not interested in the whole - Pro-Life/Pro-Choice thing right now - what I want to know is whether guys want a say in whether their unborn child is aborted or if they are happy not to have a say?

I am sick of hearing about Women's Rights - when do we ever hear about Men's Rights???

@HD I guess I just really hate the whole double-standard when it comes to 'rights' - seems if they are for women or a minority group then they are important, but when it comes to men they aren't considered or are outright dismissed.

According to my 9th grade teacher I am a disgraced to independant women the world over because when she asked the class wht they wanted to be when they grew up I was the only girl to say that I wanted to get married and be a full-time mum. Apparently, the feminist movement wasn't about equal rights and the right for women to be whatever they wanted to be, oh no, the feminist movement was only for women who WANTED a career. God forbid a woman CHOOSE not to have a career - witch, they'd say. Witch!

Look, trying to put in any law that recgonises both male and female rights in an abortion is a pointless exercise. Like HD said, the jurisprudence required to make a fair law would be ludicrously complicated (if it could ever be done). It's all down to the individual circumstance. If the man wants a say, then he should have a say. If he doesn't, well, that's his prerogative. The only thing that needs to happen is for women to recognise that the male can and should have a say in an abortive situation if he wants to. That's the only issue.

Also, Loki's year 9 teacher is the witch. She's committing a sin against God by not raising a family and procreating. Thus, witch.

Well, to set this straight - I've been flying with SkyEurope pretty often in the past 2 years, and I was a very satisfied customers. They manage to combine extremely low prices with pretty good service (probably the reason they're bankrupt now... )

Their service is way above the level of certain other budget airlines ("Dear passengers, welcome on board of Cheap Air. If you are ready for the take-off, start flapping your hands... now.") and their prices are hundreds and hundreds of Euros below the level of some flag carriers (Me: WOT?!? How come I pay for a 2 hour flight from [insert a West European city here] to [insert an East European city here] for the same price that would take me to Japan and back?!? Them: Well, it's because we hold monopoly on these flight routes and enjoy benefits of protectionist policies and thus can demand whatever we like. And besides, with us you get better service. Me: WOT?!? The only thing I get extra on this flight is a cookie!!! Them: Well, but it's a damn good cookie! So shut up and eat you 400 Euro cookie!) And I mean this regardless of the home countries of these airlines (both the budget and the regular ones, and both West and East European ones).

The second point - why a Slovak airline? - is that due to proximity between Bratislava and Vienna, the Bratislava Airport has meanwhile practically become Vienna's second international airport. It is just 20 minutes more from where I live to the Bratislava Airport than to Vienna Airport (it takes me a bit over an hour to get to Bratislava by bus) and it has partially much better connections to smaller airports than Vienna does (e.g. direct flights to Manchester are possible only from Bratislava).

I'm flying pretty regularly with other airlines as well - AUA, Ryan Air, Easy Jet, Croatian Airlines, Lufthansa etc... and up to now apart from having to endure some painful "Babies on the Plane" horror episodes (for which the airlines can't really be blamed) I had pretty good experiences with all of them. But when it comes to friendly customer service, convenient flight times and flight routes and prices a travelling-freak like me can afford, I must say I'm a big fan of SkyEurope.

And livestock I have encountered only on some East European local busses... But it wasn't so bad... they were more civilized and polite passengers than some humans are...

BUT: I'm still sitting on my booked tickets without knowing how things will develop... And I'm not so much pissed off because of the money I might lose (although that WOULD hurt my purse badly) but - I WANT TO GO ON MY WELL DESERVED VACATION!!!

@ About that abortion business - When it somehow becomes possible for men to give birth we should have a say in whether or not a woman has to go through with a pregnancy. Otherwise, no, no no no. Go give a deposit in the local sperm bank if your biological clock is ticking.

How would you feel about having to carry around a watermelon on your stomach for months without end, enjoy tons of hormonal and physical annoyance and then finish the whole business off by squeezing something the size of frozen chicken out of your ass, even though you didn't want the little bastard in the first place?

Funny thing....my printer was making strange noises. I thought I heard the sounds of waves and trees rustling in the wind.

So, I needed new contacts. I get one free eye exam per year, so off to the doctor I went. During the course of the exam, she noticed that I have an occlusion of my retinal vein. Didn't treat it, just saw it. Turns out that is enough to turn the visit from an eye exam to a clinical visit, so since this was my first visit to the doctor this year I had to pay my 200$ copay. My follow up visit is totally covered, since I payed my annual copay now, but that was 200$ I did not have.

Oh, and I might go blind in one eye.
