It has to be sex with a donut, to get the endorphins AND raise your blood sugar.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Maybe the sex wasn't good enough.
Imaginary sex also does not work.

I'm struggling to figure out what I want to do after uni, and it feels like the longer I take to decide the more options are closing off to me. It feels like such a major decision that could shape my future in vastly different ways, but I can't figure out how to really approach it in a meaningful fashion so it feels like I'm going to end up choosing almost arbitrarily.
I know in the long run it's probably not actually like that, and that it's a common situation for people to find themselves in. But telling myself that isn't really helping much. Blahhhh.

Another thought to put it into perspective - you can only do what you get offered anyway. Figure out what you are qualified for, then consider any unique skills/experiences that make you stand out and then get applying. You can then figure out what you want to do based on interview experiences and solid offers.
We now have to work for so long before we can afford to retire that there are multiple opportunities to change what we do. I fell into what I do now after loads of qualifications.

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

For some reason, the anti-hayfever meds I'd been taking the past two years suddenly have started to have really pronounced side effects this year.. I'm so sleepy and unmotivated all the time, if I'm not in bed and snoring by 5pm I can't even keep my eyes open. Almost ran in front of a bus today. Totally not worth the little improvement those pills give.
Had the doc prescribe me something stronger and with less potentially dangerous side effects. Hopefully.

That's odd.... the 5th gen meds I take overcame the sleeping side effect thing quite a while back. Hope your new stuff works out

Come on Dr's here y'all give a medical opinion: sex = headache killer? Mez? Una? Gust? Cause(soon)?
My professional opinion is that if you can manage to raise an interest in sex then your headache does not warrant discussion.

I've had that this year. For some reason my previously non drowsy hayfever meds that I've been taking for years, are knocking me into a semi coma. Lucky I was at home with my boy; I ended up dozing on the sofa at 9 in the morning while he was playing.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

The ones I used to take up until now were prescription-free, so I could get them whenever I wanted. Repotedly, the side effects were already less than those of earlier gens. No ideal what's happening. But the new pills I am taking now seems to be better. Time will tell, but at least I slept the night through. I'll see more when I've gotten the old pill out of my system in a few days.

I occasionally get hayfever (alongside a mild allergy to cats) these days, but nowhere near as bad as I used to in my 20s thank goodness. I think it's because I no longer live in Canberra.
Anyhoo, back in the day after a bit of experimentation I discovered that the antihistamines that didn't make me drowsy unfortunately didn't have much of am effect on my hayfever, only a couple of active ingredients really did the job and both of them made me drowsy. Phenergan and Demazin are the brand names, I forget what the active ingredients are and CBA googling them.
Phenergan has the lovely extra effect of making me a cranky bastard (worse than normal), so I had to quit that shit. So I basically take only Demazin these days if I get the telltale itchy eyes as well as a runny nose, sneezes etc.
I have found the new non-drowsy stuff can take the edge off, but still doesn't work as well as Demazin. Must be my body chemistry.

I find basically any anti histamines make me a little drowsy except for the ones which are cetirizine dihydrochloride (sp??) based, not sure if this is relevant to you puck, my hay fever is pretty mild usually and so the tablets aren't overly strong.
